Heli PvE in War Thunder Basics

Short guide on the Helicopter PvE mode in War Thunder.
Key Points:
1. Score doesn't matter, like in all PvE gamemodes, so don't fight over stuff
2. If you capture a point, remember to RTB, capturing is only the first part and not RTBing can hurt your team
3. Beware of AA, especially the SPAA in convoys
4. Figure out where you fit into the larger picture and play accordingly
5. Planes are more of a nuisance but beware the A-26 gunners.

How certain are you on the RTB requirement of base capping?
I've also heard that this is bugged and you get the xp once you cap but no extra for returning to base.
Have you experienced this personally or are you referring to the documentation on it by WT?
