Once in Georgia my ex & my first born son laid down & watched a Meteor Shower! They looked so close we thought we would be struck. Then at my ma's place in N.C . I was up because of Insomnia & the news said look outside at like 4:30 a.m. the Space Shuttle was flying over N.C. I saw it flying over the sun rays was bouncing off & reflecting on it.
Es que la versión de Mclan es extraordinaria, hermosisima, creo escuchar a la Miller band original en español, las voces son iguales, incluso creo más pesada la versión Española con esa guitarra solista majestuosa. Me llama la atención que en la versión original canten como si fueran españoles del sur. En resumen , extraordinaria versión original y extraordinaria version en Español.
La verdad hermano está canción es hermosa pero el toque que le da Mclan es mágico, y si la pieza original es buena la de Mclan la eleva a la enésima potencia, y hasta instrumentalmente hablando. Y a parte que este será uno de los poquísimos más importantes casos donde la traducción al español es mucho más potente musicalmente hablando. Un hito de la música española la versión de Mclan.
Mclan no hizo mucho, solo copiar...y gracias a ello se hicieron famosos...solo espero que les pagaran bien los derechos, el increible trabajo compositivo de la steve mille band y en la epoca que la grabaron no tiene ni punto de comparacion. Es cierto. Lo trabaja para el estándar comercial dándole un tono mas acaramelado e insustancial. Pero no deja de estar muy bien hecho y por ejemplo la guit.ritmica acústica me convence más que ese rasca-rasca que domina demasiado.

This was in the era of when this band REALLY came into their own, continuing in the 80's of course. Unfortunately, when I was 16 ('73) the shitty 'Joker' was played to death, but they more than made up for it after that.

steve miller band have some great songs like this one or the joker, but they need some more work on arrangements to release their full potential they need more speed for example more strength, they are too light, too slow to became a number 1, I hope some day they realize and record a new improved version that make justice to these great songs specially the joker and abracadabra, because serenade from the stars is already close to perfection
