goku playing with snow was just such a great touch to the movie. most people call him childish and dumb but that man is truly just a free spirit. he does absolutely what he loves at all times.

Just because you haven't seen anybody except those two do instant transmission doesn't mean they are the only ones that can do it. You should know that the world of dragon ball is big, with a world that big surely there are more that is out there that can perform instant transmission. And broly could be one of them, so to guarantee that he can't is ridiculous. No offense.

It’s absolutely incredible that Broly can match wits with SSJ God with his Base Oozaru/Wrath state, even holding his own against SSB! It really shows how much Broly is capable of in the heat of battle.
Yeah I just wish a lot of db fans weren't hypocrites. People get hyped when brolys base form can match SSJB and his full power SSJ needs a blue fusion to beat him but when gohan gets a transformation that's supposedly stronger than Goku and Vegeta people complain and hate on it Even though it makes more sense with Gohans character.
Power scaling was broken in this movie. Ikari form should've been still no match for ssg. And if it was, how tf was base Goku putting up a fight

@@ggamesgarner8027 with Broly it kinda makes sense because he is not a normal Saiyan from birth , more like a mutant Saiyan, they long established that, also adding to the fact that he has literally been training all his life,literally, of course with no actual battle experience, but still with Broly they then established how his strength and abilities work in the beginning of the movie, and it was at least a gradual thing, a sort of gradual building up to his strength

Aw man it's coming back full circle, this is the section of the movie that started your Dragon ball journey, Goku and Vegeta vs the legendary super Saiyan broly. I'm not gone lie I'm getting a little water in my eyes because looking back at how far we have come to get to those specific moment despite the bad feedback in the beginning portion of the movie with dragon ball minus storyline but this right here, the fight scenes is a love letter to us fans across the world. Ain't no doubt that everyone love these fights scene.
I was actually pretty disheartened to find out that Bardock's last stand against Frieza was cut from the film.

This movie is the reason Super Saiyan God is my favourite form. The fiery glow, seeing God Vegeta for the first time... it's all just incredible looking.

I love the art style and how they took the environment into account rllly shows how much work they put in to make this a great movie.
I agree, transitions from 2d to 3d, transformations are FLAWLESS I love how colorful it is, voice acting, quality and combinations and I noticed there was still 3d and 2d characters on top of that and still managed to make it fit

Agreed, I was not a fan of super Saiyan blue until this movie. Super Saiyan blue was beautiful in this movie and so is the other forms.

I like how the SSB transformation here felt like it took effort. Even when Goku first went blue there was little suspense.
my mind was blown the first time i watched the movie back in 2019 and now my mind got blown again. Best animation toei has ever produced, and the best anime movie ever. If only the series were this good just imagine goku vs jiren with such an animation

I think what happened at 17:50 is that Broly managed to get his own Ki not only around Goku, but kind of inside of him too, then that Ki kind of weakened Goku or hindered him from using his own power, which would explain how fast Broly caught up to SSG, because the Gap between SSJ and SSG is unreal. Then Goku tries to kind of cleanse or rince his body of Broly's Ki by transforming which would kind of explain why Goku had a green Aura and then the beatiful blue aura practically cleansed him of Broly's Ki, and I know it doesn't always seem that way, if you've seen Phangito's Vid on this fight you'll know Blue Goku was actually dominating Broly and I think that actually was Broly's base form limit, which needed a limit break (Super Saiyan) to surpass
I enjoy the fact that technically speaking, Goku was just a side character in this movie, like he was a really important side character, like Broly is the "villain" and that the protagonist could be said to be Vegeta, since the whole plot of this movie revolves around the sins of the father
"Antagonist" works better here. Villain implies evil and Broly isn't that.
I'd honestly say Broly is the main character, the antagonist and the plot all in one. Without his anomalous power level at birth there wouldn't have been any revenge against Vegeta in the first place. Hence the name of the film DBS: Broly

This movie was Peak Dragon Ball, I only wished they didn't reveal gogeta in the trailers but that would have probably gave everyone a heart attack by watching in theaters.

The thing about this movie is that the transformations are portrayed really well.
Like that's actually how long it takes for them to take those forms but in the shows they just cut it short and make it simple.

I know that the moment we see that shot of MUI Goku during the SSB transformation was just a artistic choice by the animators but seeing that the first time took my breath away. That transformation scene is one of the best I’ve seen by far though, it’s awesome.😄
I highly doubt that was just an artistic choice alone, I almost believe it was to signify that goku has been trying to reattain that form, and pushed himself to go into it, but failed so he resorted to blue

I also doubt it’s an artistic choice, the aura even changed for the slightest moment before going back to the spikey aura we all know.
