In my opinion, Abhaya was a prime target for sometime as a result of witnessing something / incident that involved SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY. They wanted to silence her, & this was a good opportunity to get rid of her. Sanjoy was definitely used to commit this crime.

One person can not inflicted so bad injuries a victim in 37 minutes . I am following case only via media .if india as country accepts his explanation then it's sad . How could he do all the above in 28 minutes, going into so many places, then going up and coming down , doing these horrible things with so many injuries, maybe someone was in with him helping him with the act, and looks like he was narrating something he was asked to do, maybe saving someone who had to be afraid of her ,people pulling the strings like puppets and he did the act.

It is the revolutionary streak & being pioneer in social reform(widow re marriage) that people of west bengal are again in the fore front. I have led a doctors strike for 56 days in 1980 in delhi & was an intern in 1973 in delhi when an over 100 day long strike took place in delhi for economic demands. I regret like many comrades we subjugated genger issues to economic ones.Perhaps both could have gone side by side. It was an error.

What makes you think that he was sure about a victim in seminar hall? He went around looking different rooms. If he was so sure he would have come straight to the room. This doest feels like a premeditated crime.

Then why do you think after seeing the investigation of KP highcourt got suspicious about their investigation and handed the case over to CBI??? But when he came out he realised there is CCTV and ran away ? Man, he had helmet in his hand which he could have put on his head to avoid CCTV but he chose to stare CCTV ? Is this a joke ? When he came to barrak, he didn't realise what he did that night ? Why didn't he try to leave Kolkata ?
