I want to take this time to give some love to Ying. Traveling as a job may be fun, but it's also stressfull, you're always on the move. You're always away from friends and family. I know they're married, but I love how she supports Mark so much. She's always smiling and just being so positive. Mark, if you ever read this we appreciate you for your amazing vids, but we appreciate Ying too!
You have a TREMENDOUS wife Mark, it needs to be said and I kept on forgetting to tell you- please mention to her you guys have the best of all worlds!!!!
Mark is soooo optimistic about everything! I’ve been following him for years! I’ve never heard him pessimistic or negative about anything, Mark goes out of his way to be the most positive, happy, motivating, kind, empathetic, genuine, guy who puts smiles and positivity in others lives, the world truly needs more Marks. Mark thank you for being such a positive light in such a dark world. Bless you my friend!
In Italy, joking with the customer and involving him in a cheerful way is an integral part of restaurants. The restaurant staff immediately understands whether a customer wants familiarity or not, and adapts, but generally, given how we Italians are, the approach is almost always fun, friendly and informal, so much so that we even invented a place in Rome (La Parolaccia) where they even insult you, and the people laughs a lot. This is why Italian and French customers and staff generally don't like each other very much, they are formal, rigid and seem to have come out of a vampire's coffin. All the other tourists, on the other hand, love our way of doing things very much.
Mark you and Ying are wonderful and amazing couple, that innocence and simplicity is what defines you two as beautiful humans! Much Respect Mark and Ying and thank you for taking us many places around the world, i really do taste it from your videos because of your genuine way of making us feel the flavor of the foods! Thank you! God bless you two and your son! ❤️ 🙏
Italian cuisine is my favorite food to cook. They have so many amazing dishes that don't require many ingredients, but still taste so delicious. Cacio e pepe: Pasta, Pecorino cheese, black pepper. Carbonara: Pasta, guanciale, pecorino, eggs, black pepper Aglio e Olio: Pasta, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, parsley
This has made my day already!!Thank you Mark!!Rome should be an epic vlogging experience!!You are the best Mark!!This was the 450th video I watched of you!!
Hi Mark, how's your trip, Going well right? I'm from Kerala. I already messaged you. This time I'm messaging you to tell one thing. My nephew Adhi, who is 8 years old also watches your videos with me. He's also a big fan of yours. Last week while we were having our dinner I found one thing ie, he's moving his head and widening his eyebrows when he eats his food. Then I asked him what are you doing? Then he told me that he wants to eat like Mark wiens. I was really surprised with his comments Mark. Because he was imitating you, like you perform in the videos. And I want share this with you ie why I messaged you again. Hope you are doing well. OK Mark, take care. God bless both of you.
Italian breakfast has sure changed, in the late 1980's it was Espresso, a bread roll and cheese followed by a MS Filtro cigarette... lunch was "only" 5 hours away!!! :)
Yes, I was in Italy in the 1970s and early-mid 1980s. I remember espresso and rolls only. It was not so good. i don't remember cheese. In Austria, it was quite a spread.
Nice Vlog Mark! Cacio e pepe was one of the dishes that really impressed me when in Rome. So simple. Great pasta, great cheese, great olive oil, fresh ground pepper... There is no need to complicate a dish like that when you have the best ingredients.
This guy has an incredible life. I am sure it is more work than we see off camera, but I would love to have a job that involved traveling around and eating wonderful food.
@DmY808 Italy has more variety of good food than the rest of Europe. It's up to you to discover and learn about it. Italy isn't not only pizza and pasta. Of corse they're most famous dishes but we have so much more
Hi mark, thanks a lot for this video showing the colosseum, visiting this is certainly one of my bucket lists. I know I can just watch travel clips on this great ancient site but it's different to actually watch someone showing everything while giving accounts from personal perspective. It is amazing to see the colosseum when you exited from the metro. Fantastic. Thanks again.

Agree, but you have to understand he's making a show with a very limited time and crew, so if the food is not delicious he has no time to go to a better place so he pretends sometimes.
I think Ying is such a great wife, to support Mark on his traveling videos. I know its been done a lot in his other videos but for those who doesn't know, at the final meal she even does a great job keeping the camera on Mark, the food and capturing his reactions, what he has to say, basically everything that was filmed for the table meals Ying is always the one holding the camera.
to visit rome you have to accept the fact that some part of the city is ruined like residential areas, but if you can bypass that you get catapulted in a city that has awesome food and touristic actractions
Hey Marc amazing video. Most people in other parts of the world do Cabonara with a heavy cream sauce which is far less good than the original with eggs and Pancetta :) Do you think you will be visiting Germany any time? I would gladly show you around in the local food scene of Berlin (Very multicultural and the hometown of the Döner Kebab in a bread to go..second largest population of Turkish people in the world after Istanbul, might be interesting after you've been to Turkey. Has an amazing street food scene as well) and Hamburg (A town where you get everything from the ocean. Unlike in Asia e.g. people here concentrate more on the original and plane flavor of the seafood and fish instead of using many of the good spices you have there). Enjoyed the video a lot, keep up the amazing work you do :)

hey Mark , I love your video! I was wondering in all yours travels and eating so many different types of food.. Have you or Ying ever gotten sick from eating some of the food?
It's definitely over 100 euros since they ordered a lot of different dishes. The meal was cheap. I'm from NYC, that meal would easily cost obout $400 for four people here.
First restaurant was terrible if a menu has a lot of items it means everything is left in a freezer otherwise everyone would have a big menu. I won't blame someone if they are uncomfortable on camera though
yep, the waiter was a little rough at first Because the restaurant was full Apparently and the slightly annoyed at the guy becouse hi was there to take his order and he was taking too much time to order his food. Roman people are like Newyorkers but they arent mean...sorry for my english

Italians from different regions fighting over who has „the best food“ is one of the most hilarious things in the world.
Yes hahahahaha we are incredible
@Tom Stanton in italy 'incredible" has also a negative meaning. He might've used that connotation
@Tom Stanton Much like Simon Rogers said, in Italian "Incredible" is often used to address someone who's "weird in a funny way".

Mark is definitely 420 friendly. His eyes stay bloodshot! 👌🏼🤘🏼👏🏼
hey Mark , I love your video! I was wondering in all yours travels and eating so many different types of food..
Have you or Ying ever gotten sick from eating some of the food?
Beautiful tour!
Absolutely amazing love it how you guys take the time to travel and taste food ..sending blessings to you and your wife🙏🙏
Mark, your love for Italy and the food brings me joy. Thank you so much for this video. I have just subscribed!
I went twice to Roma, amazing place if you like history, culture...but the best food is the Liguria Valley.
I love how excited the food makes you! Great video!
wow, the last meal for 4 was 10-15 EUR? Cheap!
Casper Teo you forgot "each" word
it's 10-15 euros per dish.. i think the total cost for the entire dinner is over 100 euros..
i believe that meal cost more than 100euro..which is way too expensive for where mark from..its like a month meal cost for us too
It's definitely over 100 euros since they ordered a lot of different dishes. The meal was cheap. I'm from NYC, that meal would easily cost obout $400 for four people here.
Each meal cost ranged from 10 to 15 € a middle range category
The food look pretty good. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome rome/Italy video Mark & Ying
Nice video about Rome and Italian food in general. Good Job,Mark.
I never have seen the roman coliseum inside..it was amazing..thank you
the waiter at the beginning was a bit unfriendly though.
I found Rome to be the least friendly city in Italy.
First restaurant was terrible if a menu has a lot of items it means everything is left in a freezer otherwise everyone would have a big menu. I won't blame someone if they are uncomfortable on camera though
i dont see it...italians are most fun people in the world and very friendl and very expressive but not courteous...
yep, the waiter was a little rough at first Because the restaurant was full Apparently and the slightly annoyed at the guy becouse hi was there to take his order and he was taking too much time to order his food. Roman people are like Newyorkers but they arent mean...sorry for my english
sara uribe I agree. He was a complete turn off. He made all Italians seem unfriendly
Hi Mark. You didn't really enjoy any of that did you? Lol
