Great review. People who criticize masala movies for being shallow or vacuous are ignorant of the amount of craft that goes into making a good masala movie. A movie like Jawan in the wrong hands could have been an utter shitshow. Seems like this director needs to keep working on his craft.

Making a Mass masala movie is not everyone's cup of tea..Apoorv Singh karki has crafts on making realistic products like The Aspirants and Sirf ek bandaa kaafi hai but to make a mass movie you need to have a different vision and craft..

Manoj did this movie to mock so called Masala stars. It is a meta movie. It had no intention of being good. Rather so bad that its good. This will surely become a cult classic like Zilla Ghaziyaabad😂😂😂😂😂
Agreed. I feel this about many others such as Ayushman, Rajkumar and Messi. These people may have a hit once in a while but they cannot pull off a mass movie regularly. I want to like them but I cannot watch these wonderful actors on big screen.
