so fun...played along w/the 24-pan inktense palette... fabric artists love the permanence & bright colors of the blocks & the detailedness w/the pencils... years back ii purchased Derwent's blocks grater, a small jar with a grater in the lid...perfect for adding color to other projects. their manual hand crank pencil sharpener allows me to save the shavings, watercolor % ink... adds textural color to collages, & you can brush off the wood bits when dry, or use w/gesso or texture pastes for added interest...imma derwent junkie...

I really loved the spontaneity of this drawing, Jake! I just got the tin of 12 XL blocks to play with, mixing with other media, and found this to be the most inspiring video using Inktense I've seen so far.
