I love every intro that Kurt ever did ! Jesus that's great music !
crowd is so speechless that cant move to applause when the band comes in
Wow. Kurt's solos lift the music to another level. His phrasing and timing are impeccable. He always seems to play the right note at the right time, and the muted attack makes his guitar sound almost like a synthesizer. Beautiful stuff.
A very unusual and interesting version of a Shorter classic-I confess to becoming a big fan of Kurt relatively recently so I have a lot of his music to catch up with-a great talent.
what a fantastic performance, I love it !
Glad I discovered a really nice live version of this great tune!!
Thanks
Unbelievably good! Otherworldly!
dat intro
Yes, really astounding !
Thank you, Roberta, for posting this.
Not at all, Picker :)

is this the one that wayne shorter wrote and appeared on Nefertiti
Amazing! Thank you for uploading this!
Does anybody know which kind of bass is Dario using?
Hi Guillermo, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. All I know is that it was a lightweight luthier-crafted bass that Dario defined "Bassoncello" (that is to say a mix between a bass and a cello)
he is doing some sort of hold effect on his guitar (like a piano's sustain pedal). Guessing this is the HOG pedal?
He breaks it down here: ua-cam.com/video/UXDVQcTkoFw/v-deo.html
yep... unless he is using a freeze or superego... shit, maybe he even got his axefx to pull it off.
How does he get that tone at his guitar solo? A pedal? What kind of effects pedal does that midi type sound?

It also includes a freeze function, which you can hear him using in the intro subtly.
Do you have more from this concert? Only two clips?
+Roberto De Simone Hi Roberto. Sorry, but I have only these ones.
how did he get that tone on the solo?

What effect is that called?
Jacob Gollub being a god
Several people are asking about his tone. He explains it here: ua-cam.com/video/UXDVQcTkoFw/v-deo.html
Thank you Joe :)
