  • Adam opens today’s podcast talking with Bryan and Gina about the crazy life of today’s guest, ‘Sammy The Bull’. He then complains about pronoun expectations, and Gina talks about seeing a live stage production of Hamilton. From there, Adam complains about the homeless problem in Venice Beach, and shares stories about COVID tests, Hard Knocks, and the life of Chuck Muncie. Before the break, the guys listen back on an old Loveline clip, take a couple listener calls, and laugh at an old Man Show sketch.
Former Gambino Crime Family Underboss Salvatore ‘Sammy The Bull’ Gravano is in studio next, and Adam asks him about becoming a ‘Made Man’. They also discuss the truth behind movies like ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘The Irishman’, and what really happened to Jimmy Hoffa. Adam also asks about Sammy’s involvement in multiple murders, turning state’s evidence, and having a contract placed on him after leaving prison.

@@shamtenma5350 Good question TS. I've been watching much of both and each is excellent, but they're very different. Sammy had little formal schooling and wanted to be a mafioso at a young age. Gravano is admittedly dyslexic, enough that he doesn't even pronounce it correctly (d'lexic"). He appears to be very forthright about his past. He was both respected as a street-tough/killer and a good racketeer. Gravano, impressively talented and very smart, but not as we usually think of that. Michael Franzese is also highly talented and intelligent. He was an outstanding racketeer probably the very best, but he was not on the "muscle side" of the Colombo family. Add to that that he is very polished in clothing, demeanor and intent; always counseling to stay out of the criminal life. He was was off to a good start in scholastics and wanted to be a doctor. I'm medical and I say Franzese would have been excellent at that. He's a fervent Christian. Franzese went into criminal life reluctantly to support his family as his father, a high ranked mafioso, spent a lot of time in prison and things were tough financially. MF otherwise did not intend to be in criminal life; he wanted to finish college. He had an awful time getting out of "the life" but managed to do it with a lot of help from his beautiful wife. He's truly amazing and authentic. Agree with anyone who would say they both tell their stories well, but they contrast very much with each other. I personally did not want to see them podcast together as they'd mix like oil and vinegar, but they may have already done that.

Adam has NEVER been known for research. He proudly boasts about it and in the LL years it's actually pretty funny. Adam isn't sitting around like us watching all these interviews because he doesn't have the time. He's asking legitimate questions that he's interested in and that probably a lot of his fans haven't heard before. Just because Sammy's done some interviews doesn't mean most people have seen them. He's trying to make good radio for those who might not understand. It's like on LL, when they get the same question 4 times a week: not everyone was listening when him or Dr Drew answered so they have to answer again. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking Sammy these questions because their audience might not be the same so some people are just hearing about this for the first time

@Cameron 317 yes exactly! What is with all these morons nowadays who act as if there is more than 2 genders to pick from? Why are they trying to find another option on something thats already been assigned to you before birth? Or the fact that they're just looking for something to get upset about so they can put people down for referring to people as the way they are! I could see in this interview alone how they are afraid to say the wrong thing (like about the black lung discussion) which to me is what is so disgusting about the times we are in, people have to force themselves to speak and think a certain way or else be ostracized, put down, and possibly cast away/fired for simply calling something by its name or by what it is and always has been.
