20+ year old mountaineering watch, home made belt, bic lighter, 40 year old Shrade pocket knife, 10 year old Streamlight flashlight, pocket clip knife (Spyderco) that I found on the side of the road recently, Carhartt wallet, climbing carabiner with my keys - fire steel - tinder - mini Leatherman tool, para cord braid and a P51 can opener, pistol and sometime a headlamp in my cargo pocket.

I liked your video on what you carry for different reason. Could you do a video on how to hide outside the waist band carry. You like in a warmer area of the USA than I, but I would like to understand how you do it in the summer.

I am a handy man bye trade, an I only carry a multi tool when necessary, If I were to carry one as an edc, it woul be the original Leatherman, my dad gave it to me 30 years ago, an when I did Facilities maintenance I always carried it. Thanks Jeff. I still have it in my rotation but the owner made a rant against the unvaccinated that was over the top a couple of years ago and it cooled my jets.
I know not alot of people think about the use of cross draw holsters OK I like them when younger I used them all 5he time and yes you can hide them jackets long Tshirts any long lose item you would normally use for concealed carry will work especially with guns like the Taurus 3x sig 365 standard and XL and Springfield hellcat all make good guns for cross drew so what I think are the best are the Desantis criss cross cross draw holster and Andrews car jack holster now this one when used standing up you mite find you need to twist your wrist very slightly to get a grip on the gun because it is designed for a horizontal draw whilst sitting down the Desantis is angled upwards slightly but when sat down the grip lines up with the top of your leg and the edge of your crotch so is comfortable for car use you can slide it to your hip its up to you but even overweight men can use these holsters with easy and conceale easily and with comfort the Desantis is sixty dollars well worth it and well made oh did I mention its made of leather lol there that should perk your interest

I'm grateful for your explanation! I also carry a P365 XL but I need some knives to switch up with. I have been carrying a Buck Knife for the last couple years.
I tried using the arkfeld as my daily light, is flat and don’t get in the way but is kinda heavy and sags the edge of my pocket so I switched to the i3t eos carbon fiber and I’m loving it! Those flash sales olight have are a steal!
Another good EDC belt is the polymer-core leather belt by Vedder holsters. I've been wearing it everyday for the last 2-3 years. Great belt. I love it, highly recommended. And it's handcrafted in the USA so when you buy one you know you're supporting a local company and not giving your money to some sweet and sour slave factory.
I stopped wearing KE belts when the leather housing started to tear away from the backing from basic everyday use. Between that and the company's marketing tactics, I said no more and went with Nexbelt instead. Built stronger, still excellent ratcheting design. Just better.
Be careful with the leather holster Sootch. If the leather that covers the trigger guard gets distorted or conforms in a bad way you could be looking at discharging a round into your leg. I know you’re extremely well educated on firearms it’s just that leather holsters for weapons that have no external safety just worry me. Great video!
Great video! I actually just bought an olight arkfeld to test out because of your video. Have you considered carrying a pen? I carry a Vic 4 colored pen either 3 5x7 cards in my back pocket incase I need to jot something down.
The intro showing how you wear the items is the best part. No one shows how they carry their gear but that can be very informative to viewers.

if you carry something from time to time, it is not EDC, by definition
Have you met nutn in person???

I totally thought u meant u were prepping for electronic daisy carnival 2023 🤣
Do we know the brand/model of the leather OWB holster for the sig P365..
Thanks in advance
I'm grateful for your explanation! I also carry a P365 XL but I need some knives to switch up with. I have been carrying a Buck Knife for the last couple years.
why do you need to switch your knife?
Scooch, love your content. Been watching for years! 😉
I tried using the arkfeld as my daily light, is flat and don’t get in the way but is kinda heavy and sags the edge of my pocket so I switched to the i3t eos carbon fiber and I’m loving it! Those flash sales olight have are a steal!
Pistol, knife, swiss army, lighter, bandana, wallet and keys. Carried in the same manner no matter make and model
Wish scootch would post that video again of him doing all those NDs and shooting his truck up. Great stuff, seriously.
Excellent informative video , real approach and very concise ! We appreciate you brother , stay safe !
What ammo do you carry?
Hornady Critical Duty. I love the performance. Thanks Paul
Hi Sootch00.
Which Styles Of Martial Arts Do You Practice?
Kenpo and Jujitsu now. I studied Shōrin-ryū for years before.
Wow it's about time someone showed some GOOD OLD FASHIONED LEATHER
I've been watching Sootch for YEARS! How am I only now finding this Channel???
While you're at it, you want to go to a local bar for a beer. It's boring and it should be interesting. I find it interesting as moles in pots
Would you happen to have a Tango Yankee code?
Really like the Emp Springfield!
I believe it was Bear from Bear Indepedence that said a firearm is like a parachute. If you need it and don't have it, You'll never need it again
Great video! I actually just bought an olight arkfeld to test out because of your video. Have you considered carrying a pen? I carry a Vic 4 colored pen either 3 5x7 cards in my back pocket incase I need to jot something down.
Do you feel you could run and bend with your OWB holsters and the weapon feel good and secure?
Have you looked into the glock 48 with the shield arms mags? It gives you 15 rounds and it's so much thinner
when are you going to need 15 rounds?
@DrSchor SCHOR well if that's your logic why carry a spare magazine? The more rounds in your magazine the less chance of having to reload At all.
