Cannot begin to tell you how much I've enjoyed your videos!!! I bicycled across America when I was 20, in 1978. I ran across America for diabetes awareness when I was 45, in 2002. I've always planned and looked forward to thru hiking the AT when I retired. Unfortunately, I have pretty serious heart problems, diagnosed 2 years ago. Sadly, there's no way I'll be able to realize my thru hike dream on the AT. It is such a pleasure watching your videos. You're incredibly inspiring!!! Thank You!!!!
Stella, thank you for Inspiring me to do 20,000 steps a day for 30 days. I am on day 22, when I do not want to hike, I think of you and just keep going. Doing the AT is hard to imagine how hard it is. I enjoyed watching your journey 🌻👣

I hope the zero day and the hostel stays rejuvenated you! I think you were due for a bit of rest. Maine & NH are really hard compared to the rest of the AT (I'm a 900 mile section hiker). It was sad to see you losing a bit of your upbeat spirit so close to the finish when you've come so far! You've got this.

think of it this way, someone gets a call at some odd hour there's someone waiting, has to drive say 20 miles, ferry the person, then drive back the 20 miles. I'm not sure what the deal is with someone being in attendance, whether it's volunteer or gets paid a few bucks an hour to hang out.

Well, the weather forecast is certainly a downer but, as said previously, there's not a blinking thing you can do about it - you can't control the weather. Still, it would be nice to hike through those cool woods high and dry, wouldn't it? Hope it clears for Katahdin. Be well, stay safe.
Love your casual trail chats and the mixup you have in your footage with people, trails, forests and waters. If you do CDT sections sometime in the future, I think you should wear something buckskin color🦌it would look good on you☺

Your fine with a few SH^& words once in a while. When I was slipping I usually reverted to F-bombs but usually not within ear shot of others ;-)

I use the app Day One to journal where I don’t have to worry about the journal getting wet.
Rite on Rain notebook and Noodlers ink.

This section would have been nice to have a telescoping fishing pole and a few lures to cast in those ponds you are passing. Great spot to stay the night in that cabin. I bet it was so peaceful.

That place looked really cool! A wood-burning stove is nice and toasty warm! Those woods are so pretty. I hope to see that area someday. It’s really beautiful I’m so excited for your next video getting closer and closer to Katadin.🥰🥰🥰
