@@Motomillion thanks very much 🙏 for the explanation and recommendation. I note you don’t use thread locker on any of the fixtures and hand torque instead.
Just got one of these for my Daytona 675R - how critical is the vent hose my friend? Reason I ask is because the hose did not fit / want to play ball 😢
Do you have the full race exhaust? It does smell like fuel vapors since they are notorious for boiling the fuel in hot conditions, this then leads the fuel vapors to come out of the breather tubes that are routed to the bottom of the bike.
@@Motomillion I do have a full race exhaust but the bike hasn’t been used yet so it’s not that. 😂 It’s only noticeable if I put my nose near it but I don’t remember smelling anything from it when it was on my other bike.
Looks siick man...i wanna do this mod but is this pressure build-up that you mention is it that bad that it would negatively affect anything or cause leakage from the cap? Cheers
Needs anodized black screws up top to Finish off the cool look of this fuel cap.
Awesome stuff! Thank you for these videos, Manny, I just got my 1st Ducati (V2 Bayliss) and it’s great to learn details with your videos. 🙏
Very cool mod, I do enjoy the look of this fuel cap.
Why do we not put the hexagonal nuts in anymore? Thanks for the help!
Got one on my V2
Why TWM as opposed to others? Perceived quality? The security of the closure mechanism?
They are the inventor of the quick release fuel cap. Owned by the Marchesini family.

Is it unusual to smell some fuel from these? I had it on my SP2 and I don’t remember noticing this - swapped it over to my V4R and I do notice it.

The pressure build up happens regardless of mods, more noticeable if your fuel cap is not hinged on there.
@@Motomillion ok gotcha but again are these drone to leak from your experience,?you carry these on the website correct?
