Susan Storm, the Invisible Girl, used to stop the Hulk. She would generate an invisible force field around the Hulk’s head, and wait for the Hulk to run out of air.

That's literally never happened.
The only time she ever attempted this on hulk was in the old Fantastic Four animated series, and it didn't work. After some suffering, he got angry and crushed the field she put around his head. She passed out from the mental strain. She's never pulled it off/done it in any other comic or film.
It doesn't make sense why it would work, the Hulk doesn't need to breathe, confirmed a few times. It's why he can just chill out under the water or in space, he adapts.

@@noobtube5153 Back in the Jack Kirby days, the printed-on-paper comic books insisted that the Hulk does indeed need to breathe. Have they retcon-ned the Hulk's need to breathe, since the original Jack Kirby days? Of course they have.

no....he would enlist the help of zatana...or blade and GHOST RIDER!........if you know the comics before infinity war hulk came back from sakar......with backup....... pissed at earth and during his rampage ghost rider rolls up....hulk actually STOPS and was like "hey look man, i dont dat smoke YOU my guy, just earth" lol look it up!
