Waow. Literally nothing changes when he takes off the sunglasses outside. Because he is the same person just a second ago. But when he takes off them it changes so much for him.He is mentally struggling to focus even answering a question. But the second he wear the glasses he is a confident person and i think thats really really brave move for him to wear off them. He shows his weaknesses.Thats so brave. I have my personal issues and when i see the person i m jealous of i just think that he has all the things i needed. Then he sees a spider and run away like a coward. Thats the moment i realized he has it all because of who he is without an effort. Not sharing same problems with me. For me to be person like him is challanging and i face my fears everyday. I never run away. I lose or win. But i fight. TIX is such a fighter that he can win against his biggest weaknesses and now he is being a role model for various people who is struggling and faces her/his fears. I think thats also what he wants.
Living with OCD and panic attacks for over 15 years and losing my best friend after telling him about my problems.. People making me the odd guy and yeah.. I was just the wierd one because of those "weaknesses".. Really makes you feel out of place..but keep fighting those demons every day so this song hit me right in the heart man Much love to you!
When it happens try to imagine that you are in your favourite place doing your favourite things byyourself and the whole world feels proud of you on tha moment. It works. It will help yourselfe to relax the moment you start having that and it will keep you calm and relieved. 🙂👍

He is the most genuine participant this contest ever has had. A true role model for all of us, irrespective of age, experience, location. I have never been in more awe with someone outside my family, friends and community than I have with TIX. What a truly incredible artist and more important individual. Norway is truly lucky to have him and we are all lucky to have experienced a greater ESC because of his participation and message.

He's so brave and nice! His music is full of powerful energy, so inspiring! And every moment he takes off the glasses is so touching, he shows us his vulnerability. I respect it so much. And his ability to control his ticks (he said he had much ticks and learned to control them) is so inspiring for other people with such problems. And I am familiar with mental problems and his story is very powerful and close to many of us. Especially when people don't understand that you have a real problems and don't take it seriously (they think that you just can't complain if your life seems to be good), so you're left on your own with problems such as depression, panic attacks and others.

yes those are his ticks. but like megan said, it can be distracting for him and if you have a way of controlling the ticks somehow that helps you focus better you obviously want to do that, so it doesnt necessarily mean that he wears the glasses bc hes scared, just that its easier and more comfortable for him that way

I like him and I suffer from TICs, what I dont totally understand is when he is wearing the glasses he does not seem to have tics if you look at his eyebrows they are not moving..., and then when he removes his eyeglasses he will start having the tics. for me it seems he is exagerating it, not faking it but kind of exagerating...
If I'm not wrong I think it is bcs of the light plus the nerves. There are other videos where although he has the glasses on you can see his tics. I don't think he would exaggerate this

I saw a Norwegian interview where his tics were more subtle but that situation was completely different from this one. My kid has Tourettes and we actually forget about it sometimes... But an hour later the hard blinking, head twitches and loud vocal tics are back!
