I understand that years ago, they used to have an illuminated mural of Nessie in the tunnel. It seems someone got film of it and posted it on UA-cam about a year ago...first a glimpse of Nessie's eyes, then her entire body and her head just before you exited the tunnel. They removed it and the tunnel was empty and dark for years, until they went with those projection effects for the refurb.
