Marine Corps Combat Illustrator

Marine Sergeant Shawn Sales takes creativity in the military to incredible heights. He is an instructor for the Basic Multimedia Reproduction Course at the Defense Information School, Fort Meade, Maryland. He teaches newcoming Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines to become professional graphic artists in the military.

I believe so, I am a poolie for the marines. I was going to be put as a Admin Specialist too, but I am a good artist. So I am now considering switching. My staff SRGT said that I am able to switch MOS, it's possible it's just hard and you have to show a reason why. THough if they see your art skills are very good they'll say "WHY ARENT YOU A COMBAT ILLUSTRATOR! get the heck in here SIR."

I wish someone told me artist was an MOS before I joined, I never bothered asking because I assumed something like that was commissioned.

hi, i'm currently a marine stationed at Parris Island, i'm a 0111 (Admin Specialist) but i will like to be a Combat Illustrator, is it possible for me to change MOS?
