I really just don’t know how they got this demented, melodic sound the way it exactly should sound for what they were going for. They nailed the sound. Idk if I csn fully explain through text but anybody catch my drift?
Imagine if they stuck with this more raw and demented style. Prob wouldn’t have been as big, but they would’ve been way heavier and their music honestly sounds more haunting with the raw style.

Also it's numerous live shows but in 1993 they are technically SEX ART. but nobody under 40 is going to know that unless you are a super fan or weirdo 🤣 🤣
They unleashed some very dark energies on their demo and first two albums. Even for metal. Those days of Korn are still so damn impressive, especially live.
Yeah, I feel like they cut out the catchier riffs in the album version. But considering the changes to Blind and Daddy, it's almost odd how similar Predictable ended up to the demo version.

The guitar amp sound is definitely a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier. What else could it be? That’s not the Peavey 5150 sound, not the Soldano, or Bogner sounds either. It’s definitely not the Orange, Marshall, Rivera, Diezel, or Hughes & Kettner. Those all have sounds other than the sound in this video. The sound in this video is a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier. It’s not a Mesa Boogie Mark IV, or a Mark IIC+, it’s specifically the Triple Rectifier.
The '94 tour they used to play "Ball Tongue" with a "La Di Da Di" tease into "U Mean I'm Not" tease by 'Black Sheep'. That is one of my favorite covers they do. "I Dream't I was Hard." 🤘🏼

They used to play faster and more muddy sounding that's what gave them their sound but now they use all clean tone equipment and electronics.
That's because you cannot hold onto the same passion for 30 years things and people change.
