One of the challenges with landing seaplanes in remote wilderness locations is assessing the go-around options (or lack of them) from the air before you begin your final approach.

Well done mate, you look the happiest I've seen you flying any seaplane. Makes total sense for the 206 to have the additional wingspan, greater lift, allowing you to hold it for as long as you did, just above the water at your target airspeed. I can only imagine just how crucial speed management has to be, not only for landing on the water, but to be able to hold it on "the step" as you said. I assume that's with full back pressure on the elevator at the speed to just stay skimming the water, fairly high pitch attitude similar to grass when compared to a taxi on a hard surface? I'm rambling. Glad you're really getting there now. One step closer to your dream!

On the step taxying at speed you need neutral elevator or it would try and fly again!

Have about 400 hrs on this very aircraft from the 90s. Then on Edo floats. We used aerocet in Dubai on our 208 s and very much better than edo

Good video but take the music away, please. Engine sound is best music for aviators!
