  • Really happy to be upgrading my backyard to these Rain Bird Rotors. Very accurate coverage with setting the edges as well as the ability to install different flow nozzles. These nozzles are very similar to the 3504 Rain Birds but more of a pro version than the SAs.

    Good info. I still have a brand new 4 pack of RainBird 32SA's from Amazon. I was going to replace my old ones but when I had the lawn replaced the landscaper went with Hunters and added a few more heads for better coverage.

      I wish I had gone with this option years ago, don't know what I was thinking trying to use pop-ups. The rotors seem to really run better pressure wise, compared to when I was using 1800 rain bird bodies with sprays or rotarys. I would have like Hunters but I could only find good prices on Amazon with these. 30 bucks for a 4pk had to give these a try. They look cool too like a ballpark irrigation. I don't think I've seen your watering set-up, you should show us.

    You didn’t show how to change the left adjustment point.

      Here's exactly how you do that!
      He covers everything in a very short but concise and clear manner:

    Unfortunately, the hardest part is to adjust the left side, and the springs keep messing that part up for me. You didn't cover that, but perhaps you could leave a note as to how to do the left side alignment?

      It's not that difficult actually. I can make another video on how I load it into the ground positioning my left stop close to perfect.

      This video helped me with the left side adjustment:

    Ive found these sprinklers to be more reliable than the Hunter SRM i was using which seemed to stop rotating frequently. They are running of bore water though which shortens their lifespan..

    Does the screw that keeps the nozzle in and also hinders the flow cause it to not shoot as high in the air? I am having some issues where the stream seems it almost shoots too high?

    • @DirtygardenCA
      @DirtygardenCA  Рік тому

      It will shoot high in the air if the screw isn't touching the water flow, turn the screw to the right create more of a spray than a tall stream. What nozzle size do you have installed?

      @@DirtygardenCA I’m having the same issue. I just have the original nozzle on from when I bought them. What size should be on there?

      You should probably try one of these Rain Bird nozzles amzn.to/45kHuHi put in a 1 or 1.5 to start with. What distance are you looking to acheive?

      If you have the 32SA here's how you adjust the distance of the spray plus adjust the spray pattern correctly:
