Your breakfast set up was amazing! So beautiful - the tea sounded good. My mother-in-law was famous for giving future gifts. She loved to sew, but always thought she could get more done in the time. She would wrap up the fabric , the pattern, the buttons and the thread in a beautiful box with a promise note. Thank you for sparking such a good memory for me. This was a wonderful, tea filled day ❤
Did I spot some sea glass in your jar? Growing up my mom, sister and I watched White Christmas every Christmas Eve and we’d make hot chocolate on the stove. Now my husband and I turn on Elf while we are decorating the house for Christmas. It’s fun how movies can become part of holiday traditions!
Wow! You were quite a mixologist today, Jann. So fun! The bourbon chocolate ball tea latte sounds yummy! Is Taniya’s new book a book of poetry? How special! Tea Thoughts stationary Advent has been super adorable. I hope you both enjoyed the Christmas movie and your tasty, calming nighttime tea. Big hugs! 🩵💜
Thank you so much! Yes, Taniya’s book is a book of poems, but it takes you on a travel (if that makes sense). I actually had her on for an interview too! 🩵 and the drink was so delicious! 🤤
Awww that breakfast setup filled my heart! ❤❤ I am so glad you liked Lisbon breakfast tea ☺️ Thank you sooo much for that idea on gifting pre-ordered books… so wonderfully adorable! Believe it or not, I hadn’t thought about it 😆 I preorder a lot of books but rarely ever as presents! Now I will 😉 I hope whoever wins the signed copy in your newsletter giveaway enjoys it! 📚
Thank you so much for being so wonderfully supportive of me and the community! The tea was wonderful. I became busy after breakfast and had to heat up the last of the pot, but it was so good! Also, the rose jam was heaven. Complete heaven. I felt transported to summer. Thank you so much! And yay for ideas for gifting pre-order books! 📚 so good! 👏 Thank you so much for your generosity for the community, I know the winner will love your book! 🩵👏
One of my favourite Christmas movies is Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin. It is a dark comedy with a lot of different actors making cameos. Jennette mentioned she had a chocolate covered cherry, I am jealous.
My favourite Christmas movie of all time is Arthur Christmas, we watch it every year without fail, mostly on Christmas Eve. One I think you will love is called Santa and Pete, it’s about how Christmas came to be and how Santa became who he is throughout time. Santa and Pete go on a journey learning more and more about the history of Christmas and where all the traditions come from, it’s so good. That tea latte looked so nice, I’ve never really tried a tea latte, I think it might be on my list of things to try this Christmas.
ooooh thank you - we'll have to check that one out! and yes - you try the latte - so good :) a nice treat like a liquid dessert :)

Ohhhhhh my gosh Jann! Your foxglove plate and teal corset tea cup are both absolutely STUNNING!! I loved the shot of you sipping out of the cup...and how special that it comes from your friend's grandmother! 💙❤ That was like a mini, beautiful breakfast ASMR treat for us; thank you!

Movies - I can't name just one. I like the older classics: It's a Wonderful Life; White Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966); A Christmas Carol, etc.
The teas all sound delicious. Always it's A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Polar Express, Home Alone and Home Alone 2, and The Grinch. Newly added (for a bad day), Violent Night. Love the movie discussions!
I just love Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, takes me right back to my childhood. Parts of A Christmas Story were filmed in my area, particularly the school scenes. I remember my dad taking us to Wendy’s one night for dinner and a number of people were gathered around this kid, turns out it was the actor playing the kid that stuck his tongue to the flagpole.
Muppets Christmas Carol is my favourite! I have a yarn colour way I’m going to make my husband socks out of for National Lampoons Christmas vacation! Our second favourite!
I also loved A Christmas Story - watched every year for several years in a row. We also watch Christmas with the Kranks (comedy), A Christmas Carol - we like both the Patrick Stewart (1999) and the George C. Scott 1984) versions, and many others.
Oh that Latte would be fabulous I’m sure! As an avid reader, a pre release book gifted in that way would probably be my favorite gift of the year ❤ Happy Vlogmas day 13!!
I loved hearing the movie discussion. My father in law watches the worst movies as well without looking at them just so he doesn't have to subscribe. We love to watch Christmas in Connecticut.
That latte you made sure looked delicious 🤤 My favourite Christmas movies growing up were Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, a Christmas carol, how the grinch stole Christmas. I recently watched The Grinch. A remake and very well done, must have taken years to put together!
I’ve been on a tea latte kick lately. I always feel spoiled whenever I have one. Haha I love Muppets Christmas Carol and Christmas Story. I live about an hour from the Christmas Story house; I recorded myself under the sink saying, “Daddy’s going to kill Ralphie.” I’ll have to see if it’s somewhere in my files. Lol
We are a scroll family here also LOL My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. I watch it every year on TBS. They play it every single year for 24 hours. I just leave it on Christmas day lol
I too have a jar with tons of random stuff in it! Thank you for sharing this. I’m not alone! That latte looked DELICIOUS! Wow so chocolatey & bourbon-y and just wonderful 😊
Most of mine has turned into broken crayons and kids toys too small to even be a toy but thank god for talenti gelato because I use those all the time as “random stuff” jars!
I love that washi tape,it’s so cute!! Your So creative with the gift idea for gifts you don’t physical have to give yet! I want to learn to make good lattes, my frother is old
ooooh I need to do a test with frothers - maybe a test run to see what works best (regular frother vs stick type vs shake etc) :) what do you think? :)
You didn’t mention Love Actually! Or the Grinch! Or Frozen or It’s a Wonderful Life Or Scrooge! Or Home Alone! One I love that’s super old is Christmas in Connecticut.
We watched Candy Cane Lane it is terrific!! Highly recommend. Also, i will be purchasing the adagio tea because i am so in love with it!! Can not wait to make a latte!
I'm so behind, catching up! Loved the Christmas gift idea! There was a cookbook I wanted to get my husband, but it doesn't come out until February so I just kind of pushed it out of my mind. This is such a great idea!!! I'm going to do it! :)
Have you seen Noelle, a holiday movie starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader? I LOVED it!! It’s charming and funny and heartwarming. Highly recommend. 🎄🎁❄️⛄️
Happy Birthday to your friend. This is also my brother's bday too! I need to find your creamer. It looks so delicious! My latest creamer obsession is Chiobani non dairy Maple Glazed Donut. It is soooo good. I bet a frother would make it better! I should look into getting one. :) Also, how many servings do you get in the Thesaurus tea each day? It looks like a big bag to just have one serving.
Happy belated to your brother! Yes to the frother, definitely recommend this one. I’ll show more of the thesaurus tea bag, but it is just one serving. Which is perfect :)
