Brutus is the textbook definition of lawful good. I loved him trying to figure out his chain of command in the flower kingdom before going "Oh yeah, Pixie." and just rolling with it.

The way Mr. Wrinkles got excited when Brutus called him his friend makes me wonder, how does Brutus see everyone else? I thought they were all (for the most part) friends by now.
they're all friends he's just to proud to admit it
He's grudgingly coming to see them as friends, they started out as just being pixies annoying band of misfits but the more time he spends with them the more he comes to care for them

I love how pixie listens to the entire thing, despite not knowing what any of it means. That just goes to show how good of a friend she is, even when her friends aren't that good of a friend to her. A pure soul

I love that cats pushing stuff off horizontal surfaces is usually depicted as a compulsion rather than an action due to boredom. It’s so funny even if it isn’t actually accurate to real life. But if you ever see your cats pushing stuff off horizontal surfaces, it is most likely because your cat is bored and is trying to entertain itself. Since cats find falling items fun. So pull out the toys!

Depends upon the cat...one of my cousins cats would then just take their toys up to a high point and push it down, then go get it and bring it back to repeat several times.
Unfortunately, their dog learned that kind of trick with knocking balls down the stairs for random tripping hazards...
Sometimes it is out of compulsion too-
Cats and dogs suffer intrusive thoughts- hence why sometimes they tear stuff up
So that’s why I always want to push stuff off of ledges

It IS duck. It was named after its water resistance properties as it was originally used to seal ammo boxes to keep the munitions dry.

You know I never actually saw the end of the long story until now I just saw Brutus playing chicken with that snake, also aww he does care (about wrinkles he obviously cares about Pixie)
Simple solution to the chain of command:
Brutus has not yet been appointed as general (however he certainly will be and it’s just a matter of paperwork so he has the authority.) and there is no current King or Queen but Pixie is ruler and just hasn’t come of age to get the title officially
Furrhermore, in my country (Belgium), the current older prince and princess (theh are now in tveir 20s) went to army training: they have to be able to command the troups (I don't know their exact position in the commanding chain). We could assume/imagine that the Queen and the King stay behind the lines because they get old and must be in security to rule the kingdom; meanwhile, the prince and princess are going on the field.
Possibly it's More like fairy tale Logic where the official title of the ruler is princess.
And if the princess is the ruler the official title for the leader of the army could also be captain.
how to explain planes a bit more easily: planes have turbines, turbines go wrrr, which makes plane go fly

I used to have a dog named Brutus. despite being a big dog he was the gentlest of souls. I sure do miss the poor boy. at one point when we had kittens, this was later in his life, my dad heard him whining and thought "oh no it's time"(got too old and sore to stand again) NOPE! the kittens had piled on top of him and where sleeping and he did not want to wake them up. gentlest of souls.

It's easy to explain how planes fly to children. Their engines are super powerful, like how a boat propeller pushes a boat forward in the water, a plane engine propels a plane to launch off the ground, and the plane is shaped that it can fly on air currents at its super fast speed.
I love how brutus's face is so cute and how he is so committed to the surprise staring contest and it's just super cute. Honestly this is the definition of lawful good or lethal good.
