Everything about this video has touched my heart. My mother died last month, and we were extremely close. We watched this video together when it came out last year and spend a good ten minutes crying together. She had cancer for a long time. I am turning 15 this year and it’s going to be hard navigating life without her. We got her a blue urn to put her in, and I just made a connection. There are four birds on it. Three of them are going one way, and one is going the other, and I like to think of that one as my mom. My dad, sister and I are going one way, and she is flying the other. So every time I hear these lyrics, I just burst into tears. Thank you for everything you did with this video. It’s a beautiful reminder that I will see her again.

Well in here the girl represents the 'freak' who gets called names and gets bullied. Sadly it still happens, starting from pre-school and not ending, even at work place.
People find it soo cool when they do this smh. Don't try to understand what they are breaking.
