Just followed your tutorial and made a white one with a black button. It was a bit too big so I turned it into an anklet and I absolutely love it! Will be making a smaller pink one for my daughter. Thank you :)
I found you thanks to your daughter! :) I use to crochet when I was younger and I totally have disregard and forgotten most of the basics but watching you has gotten me back into it thank you so much! You remind me of how much I loved it!!! :')
Thank you! Super easy tutorial...very easy to follow 😊 i used embroidery floss in a variegated color with 2.25 hook very cute...birthday gift for my friend ☺😍thank you again...Aloha from Hawaii
My bracelet is now taking shape, I am using crochet cotton in Autumn colours of orange and green, found embroidery cotton much too thin, also tried DK wool but reverted to crochet cotton, I am enjoying this tutorial, this bracelet is very pretty, I will be making more of these, though I did find it difficult at the start, I persevered , thanks for sharing x
You are my type of girl who crochets free form. I too, dislike the idea of sticking to a pattern to the T. You got my vote when you said to improvise. Just subscribed to your channel. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless
Hi Madj, So glad you like my free form approach :) I have had to be very disciplined making you tube videos as I have to try and give exact proportions etc. Personally I improvise all the time but for my channel I have to be more specific. Thanks for subscribing!
I mean't to tell you I have a free form course up if you are interested at curious.com/gillyscraftworld/series/creative-freeform-crochet You can check it out, you might like it.
I use one whole for the inside color and whole one for the counter , I had a little tread left for the bottom closer . Work out perfect and cheap about $ 0.80
I normally do not comment on you tube videos but i absolutely loved this one. Great job easy and concise thank you for taking the time to make it. Is there a chance that you could make a tutorial for this bracelet and add beads to it? I would like to make my sister and daughter a couple for christmas thankyou
vickey stiles Hi Vickey, thank you so much for your comments. I can definitely look at that. I would probably make a different bracelet though. Also a simple one but with beads. :)
when you use the embroidery thread do you separate them or use the whole thing? when I use to do the embroidery I would separate them in bunches of two so is thinner... sorry for my bad English...
Suzie McMurray Hi Suzie, I do have a few up, if you go to this link, you can scroll down to the playlist that says How to Crochet and you will find the video's there. You can also find me at curious.com/gillyscraftworld, where I have a bunch of videos as well. Let me know if you need any help :)
Hi Barbie, If you scroll down to the information box below the video you will always see where to find the written pattern and all the info. I have the pattern on blog at www.gillyscraftworld.com/2013/... The thread is embroidery floss, if you get 2 in each color you should be good. The hook is a size 3.5mm. Hope that helps. Have an awesome day!
***** so sorry. im a big ninny I should have looked there. right after I messaged you I saw it! ahaha. I made the bracelet. so far im still working on my tension but all in all I love it!! am I allowed to sell these if I make them for my up and coming esty store if I mention the motif is from you?
That's fine, lol. So glad that your bracelet is working out for you. About selling them, I will have to say no, as I am in the process of getting my etsy store up as well and will be selling them and other things. I really appreciate your integrity in asking me though. Have an awesome day!

This is truly beautiful! Luv it!

I use the whole thing. If you want it thinner you can separate it, but not sure of the size it would come out in. So best to use the whole thing :)
Working on it now, I am using a regular yarn rather than the embroider to see if I can make it a headband. We will see how it comes out!!

when you sew on the hook do you use the embroidery thread and so it on with a machine or can you sew it in by hand
Hi Harlie, I actually use normal thread as it is thinner and I sew it by hand. You can also take one thread of the embroidery floss and use that.
Ok sweet thanks gilly
