    Amazing to see such caring. I was a bit jaded from what I found out in my area. Starting at 400$ and they manufacturer the chairs. Talked to walking wheels and was quoted 399$ and they are a distributor. Going to try my hand at a diy considering we don't have the cash for a chair and it kills me to see her missing her beloved walks. You are obviously one of the good ones.

    Thank you for sharing your video on Romeo we have a pug Lucy with the same disease, she was given an Eddies chair but as you know Pugs are stubborn and she says NO to the chair ,but we are working on it my Maltese Winston is a wonderful help he gets her going . I know we have a long road ahead of us but she is one of our babies and we love her. Thank you again ...judi

      Hello,
      Romeo passed away about a year ago. I still miss him very much. His wheels have been passed on to another pug who was in need at Eddies Wheels. We have since gotten another pug however I miss Romeo a lot every day.

    I have 2 pugs and a pug mix. My senior pug is having a lot of problems with his hind legs. I did by jasper a wheelchair, but, I didn't know how to use it on him. Thanks for making this video. I feel bad for my dog.

    I have a little one that needs a chair, was actually looking to build one for her. She has diabetics and is 12 years old, only 8lbs. Why to people want to rip us dog lovers off by charging outrageous prices i will never understand. 400$ seems a bit much when people say you can build one for around 25-50$

      +James Fralic These chairs have been custom measured and made for your specific dog. They are custom fabricated from people who have experience doing this day in and day out. I'll gladly pay someone at least this amount than me going to home depot and buying some parts and trying it out. I agree it is quite expensive, however to me, it was an average vet bill. Not everyone will be able to afford one of these and if you can't there are several donated ones available as we were able to donate Romeo's back after he passed. Two other pugs have gone on to use his wheels. Had I built the thing myself I'm sure I wouldn't have donated it to anyone else, but I know the quality of this place is the highest.

    how much do these cost ?
    the last ones I researched were $400 !

    • @caseyhubelbank
      @caseyhubelbank  5 років тому +1

      yes. That was about how much it cost initially. Each time we had to upgrade the cart due to my pug's declining condition, it was about $200. Worth every penny. They are custom for each pet. It's really a small price to pay considering all the vet bills I had surrounding his illness. We kept him comfortable and alive for as long as he was happy with his favorite activities........ eating and cuddling..... we let him go to the rainbow bridge when he started to not even care about eating which was his way of letting us know it was time. The DM illness start to finish took about 1.5 - 2 years for him.

    Can they pee in wheel cart ?

      Yes they can in fact for Romeo, it was the only time he could. His bladder muscles didn't work anymore for the last year or two so he had to be expressed.
