    If I'm understanding the boss correctly, do you need to make sure all bosses are equally damaged to make sure their gauge doesn't empty/fill up completely?

      The gauge goes up when you the player gets hit, so if your other party members are getting hit a lot, you need to get hit to balance it out, but if everyone is getting hit excessively you're going to fail by losing too many mental points (number at the top)

    Are you allowed to actually solo it? besides damage do you just do each side after the other?

      I think it has to do with the score thing because based on the ai it seems each 2 players will be against one of the 3 and I doubt 2 people can solo one of them o.o

      It is the weird "point" system on the middle of the screen, like hilla/bm you lose lives for going to 0 HP, but also from being hit by certain gimmicks

      아래있는 게이지는 관리할수는 있을거같은데 정신력때문에 솔플은 딜찍누지 않을까요 물론 더 나와봐야 알긴 하겠지만

      대충 1페 1보스 1극딜 이렇게 총 3극딜해서 2페가고 2페 2극딜해서 넘어가는식으로

    Feels like every other maplestory boss where it's just a single player straw dummy with minor dodging mechanics and random gimmicks to disguise it as a fresh boss.
    Literally the same layer of complexity as verus hilla I'm honestly not too impressed respectfully.

      tbh idk what other mechanic you can introducte into maplestory to make bosses unique or more challeging its kinda limited 2d game

      @@MichaelSEhcscim i think it being a 2d game is a poor excuse for bad boss designs and mediocre gameplay loop. There are plenty of 2d games that fair better than maplestory at their peak. I'm not asking maplestory to be the best MMORPG out there, I'm just asking it to be the best they can be. Nexon unfortunately has an allergy to that phrase.

      @@Bylefted Well, let's come up with some suggestions to make "bossing" more complex interesting in Maplestory. I mean instead of complaining, let's come up with some new mechanics, suggestions and improvements.
      The latest boss, has some different mecahnics which requires teamwork at least, the last few bosses actually ( Kalos en Kaling ) Other bosses I agree have like lack luster complexity.
      Things I self thought about were that system they added for Ursus the skeletal boss system with dynamic background was something cool, made things more interactive, but never worked on this in the future. I mean, they could improve this aspect and make more things interactive.
      A second suggestion I had for the game is to add a potential ranking system by slaying bosses like ( S rank, a , b, c etc )Like dmg, speed and surviviablity so that you have some sort of ranking system in the game except, dojo and tower of oz. ( this system is also apparent in Ursus) They should work this out.
      I have more ideas, but i would love to hear some from you. What are your suggestions for this 2D game.

      @@MichaelSEhcscim everything that I've heard revolves around single player content. Even the complexity is 1 dimensional because they are dependent on a single player's competency as compared to other MMOs like WoW, FFXIV and even GW2.
      Maplestory is just a single player game marketed as a multiplayer game. Their platform limits the depth of mechanics and devs are just milking the game at this point, recycling content and making a desperate grasp to keep stakeholders content for as long as possible.
      The game itself feels more like a daily chore simulator as compared to a game. There is nothing fun and enjoyable about killing basic bosses to fund a character only to rinse and repeat on another character.
      If anyone does find it fun then I challenge you to reveal your game portfolio, you will find that your lack of diversity and exposure to other games has lead you to accept and believe that maplestory's gameplay loop is even bearable to say it in the nicest way possible.
      There is nothing to improve on. It peaked. Now it's time for a new game.

      @@Bylefted I agree on the multiplayer aspect, the only multiplayer aspect it had was back in the day when you actually needed different classes to support during boss fights, like bishop back then. Who kept you alive and resurrect you. The social aspect back then was also needed to interact and do objectives together like party quests and guild quest.
      But they destroyed that aspect with the intro of the power creep element, after that the game turned into a heavy single play farm game indeed.
      Even tho the state of the game currently is in people still enjoy it, however I think the devs should focus more on improving the game social aspects and bring party questing, social content back. Improve old systems like the crafting and bring back PvP that was fun back in the day.
      But how would you introduce new mechanics to bossing in Maplestory as it is currently? I mean, I dislike people who only complain but never come with solutions or things to improve on. I mean why even play in that case lol or watch the maplestory stuff. I think they could introduce new things to the bossing like with the skeletal framework that they used in Ursus to make bosses more interactive. Dynamic backgrounds or more platforming changing environments , what are your suggestions, you seem to have a vast gaming experience.
