This is so on point.
I am looking for this kind of reaction video towards the Philippines. I'm a Filipina but let's face it people, we can't always just accept the good things. We should also embrace the negative truths. Well, I especially like what this video said about corruption. Of course, we can't just put all the blame on the government. Most of us act like it's always the government's fault that all poverty and all are happening in the Philippines when MOST OF US can't even follow a simple instruction such as no loitering, etc.. It's easy to complain but it's not easy to do something instead of just complaining? This video is telling the truth and I don't see something to hate it.

who hate the Philippines because it is an awesome country with great people. No matter what, all countries have problems, like here we have lots of mass shootings in America. I've lived in the Philippines for almost 8 years and I am sad to say a lot of this is true. What annoys me is that the moment someone lists down the bad traits of Filipinos, they get all butt hurt about it. Nobody is perfect, but it doesn't take that much to admit that you're not. The mentality of the Filipino is so.... aggravating once you stay here for a number of years. Their complaints against the government are things that I always slap myself when I hear the reasons. I have never seen people complain about a president doing something about the drug pushers and then squaters crying when their homes are torn down.All of this goes straight to the news on a near daily basis!
The Philippine mainstream media is the champion of mediocrity, it is devoid of critical thinking and thorough research and any meaningful reporting that can help move this country forward in its development....look at the kind of variety shows and game shows and news commentators and documentary it has. All it does is poverty pornography and criticize a president doing necessary changes. And as for entertainment, it celebrates shallow love teams and gaypersonalities command the ratings. It has low standards For performing artists. As long as you are gwapo, or mestizo, you are qualified to be in showbiz.

IVe been to the Phillipenes (Palawan) twice in less than a year and plan on returning in november for 3 to 4 months (wife is peno). Worst problem ive seen is the pollution "garbage" everywhere. Manila is out of control with garbage heeps specially under highway over passes. Puerto Princesa, Palawan not so bad but id still find beautiful streams of water just packed with refuse which is so sad but not surprising. More education on the effects to the enviroment would go along way or maybe more recycling centers. As for the other 4 hate reasons..those are everywhere in every country some more than others. All in all i love the philippines and plan on relocating there next year.
But now, you can enjoy ur life, living here HAHAH, our islands are now clean, manila bay is now clear,.no trash, thanks to our president Duterte

I am Filipino. I have lived in Australia for 20 years.My country Philippines is behind in everything compared to other countries. They just need to catch up.The new president has put forward guidelines like no drugs, no drink driving, drinking on the streets, no littering, liquor curfew to shape up the Filipino. It's a start and these things are the norm in developed countries.
Politically there are also changes and is similar to American or Canadian system it's called Federalism.I wonder why the hell it has taken this long to change this Manila dependent system. Where the whole country fate is decided by Manila.Why can't we have power and wealth spread evenly.
There's also drugs and corruption every where, the church, media, politics and drug lords are all hell bent on oppressing the people.These guys do nothing but keep getting rich whilst the poor remains poor.There's many problems to solve.
Filipinos are not doing themselves any favors by praying Sundays then having too many kids because the church says it's OK.These guys don't have jobs to feed them the money they do have they spend for drinking every night, smoking and their kids roam the street taking drugs late at night.Parents are not doing their job controlling their kids.They elect the most corrupt politicians. Some cops and drug lord are working together.Politicians are scared of drug lords or profiting from drugs themselves or better yet are in the drug business when they are not stealing Filipinos money.

I’m a Filipino too. And I understand that not everything is all good about the Philippines. Colonial mentality is still on the rise, global warming, pollution, and crime rates too along with poverty, corruption, and trash, yes, trash also exists. Though Filipinos have joy and put their heart and soul in what they do. We are still a third world country, corruption exists, trash exists, money probably doesn’t in other people’s lives. I agree with what you have said in this video. Though I am proud of my country, I accept that it’s not perfect. It’s nice to know that there are some people who aren’t afraid to tell the truth and don’t dance around the topic and just goes straight into the problem. I don’t find many videos like this in UA-cam and I’m happy that this is one of those few videos.

The country, including Manila, was once a paradise. Look for photos of old Manila up until about the late 50s
It was clean. The roads were wide and lined with trees 🌲 that provided shelter from the heat. Manila Bay and the Pasig river clean in comparison to what it is today. People were gentle. They had values and ethics which were admirable. Somewhere in the 70s all these changed and went south. I know because I was born in the late 40s.

Some of the faults I find in the Philippines that really amaze me
1. Trash all over this beautiful paradise. Come on where are the trash containers, I love the look of the Philippines, but the trash has to get picked up.
2. Manila syndrome, everything important has to be handled and taken care of in Manila, yet they have offices in other cities but they can't take care of it, you HAVE TO GO TO MANILA!!! case in point I had some Memory sticks from an old computer I wanted to send to my son in the USA since he needed them and I had the spares, ok, I need a permit, got to go to Manila, Why? Why can't the offices in Angeles, Cebu, or where ever do that simple task or are the people outside of Manila to whatever to handle this.
3. From what I see, if you want to get MARRIED or DIE, you have to go to Manila to get approval, or whatever, once again what are your offices for in other cities, why don't you just put a sign on their door and say you have a problem, go to Manila.
4. Traffic - are their any rules, or is it a free for all, traffic would flow more smoothly if they had rules of the road.
5. Why are very young kids allowed to jump into transportation vehicles and beg for money etc. this is totally dangerous for the kids and people.
6. Since I don't drink or do drugs, I don't know about that problem, and I wish America would take Dutarte's actions, just shoot the dealers.
7. No toilet paper in comfort rooms in public places, for that matter some don't even have seats on the toilets. Slowly getting used to this, carry my own stuff.
8. So Hot, well it is the tropics, and that is why I came here, so I guess I am the problem.
9. No free fishing parks, or lakes. In America they have a saying, take a child fishing, it is the best experience a father and child will have. and that is very true.
10. So far the worst thing I see is that the Government in the Philippines needs some tweaking, there are area's that need to be handled differently, like spread the work load out to your other main cities throughout the Philippines, this would help solve some of the traffic problems in Manila, I mean why can't your offices outside Manila handle Marriage license's. birth certificates, death reporting, drivers license's and Permits, or import / export permits and taxes. After all your Schools here in the Philippines seem very good, and it looks like your young people could handle these problems and government process's.
I'm sad cause I'm only 13 and i already knew this toxic things goin on.. disappointed ako kasi yung matatanda ngayon wala silang alam sa mga gantong bagay.. bro this is deep asf.

All good points and topics. I really hope more is done to protect the natural beauty and environment of Philippines =)
What i don’t like about my country: (to be honest)
1. The air is VERY polluted. And there are no electric cars in this country. Only 2 Tesla Model S cars that is owned by an electric company called Meralco and it’s just displayed in the company’s head office. Most of the cars here are diesel and petrol so you only get fresh air in rural areas where there is less cars. And let’s not forget about the noisy jeepneys. Not only are they noisy, they also spew a lot of black smoke. And then the jeepney drivers get mad and protest when the government suggests to modernize the jeepneys to be more environment friendly. I don’t know why but those drivers didn’t think that it’s for the good of their own country. I think were gonna be stuck with this old jeepneys for a long time.
2. People throw trash everywhere. Especially in the river. And ends up in the sea. Especially Pasig River, which is a biologically dead river, because people throw trash in there and ends up in Manila Bay.
3. Slow Internet. Average home internet speed is only 3-5 mbps and you only get fast 50 Mbps wifi in select mall wifi hotspots, but those hotspots mostly have a 1 hour limit per day and you have to come another day to be able to connect again.
4. Thieves and “snatchers”. Whenever i go outside my house i always double check if my phone and iPad is hidden correctly inside my bag’s pockets. If you use your phone while walking on the streets especially at night, good luck trying to chase the thief when it gets snatched.
5. Government corruption.
6. Traffic. There is a rule in here in Manila where every plate number ending numbers has a day where that car cannot be taken on the road, unless you want your license taken. This is implemented because government thinks it will “help lessen the traffic especially on major roadways”. For example your plate ending number is zero, then you are not allowed to drive your car on Friday. But to me (and i believe most Filipinos too), this doesn’t make much sense because people will just buy a cheaper second car, thus rendering this “number coding” thingy, as we Filipinos call it, useless.
Edit: oh and the other Filipinos who comment has really bad grammatical errors! Especially “i am filipino and YOUVE hurt us” WTF😂😂

Here is my list.
1) The traffic in Manila is the worst in the world.
2) Mosquitos. My feet once poked out from under the net and I got 11 swollen bites.
3) Pollution. Its such a shame that all of the rivers double as sewers. The water in manila bay is completely unsafe but I see people fishing and children swimming in it.
4) Waiting in line. People are far to patient when waiting in line at the bank.
5) Tabos. I think I almost drowned myself the first time I used one.

What I don't like about the Philippines is the common attitude of its people. Here are the list:
1. Filipinos are madly proud of themselves.
2. They constantly drag each other.
3. Lack of self discipline.
4. They love to show off even if there's nothing to show off.
5. They are so nice to foreigners but a constant competitor to their neighbour.
6. They don't accept constructive criticism. If you criticised them, they'll attack you and would tell you to get out of their country & go/live somewhere else.
7. They took things seriously & hold grudges.
Behind those positive traits they show like hospitality, friendliness, smiles, hides their common negative traits.
