my friends and i used to do this string and tape trick on the older arcade machines from the early 80's and it worked. never let the coin drop past the no return point. you needed to slowly let it go and once i felt the wire or whatever it is that acknowledged the coin, i needed to pull up gently and let it drop gently up and down and the credits would bling bling bling ect.. i've been watching all these videos of people, that weren't even born, using newer, and i mean late 80's machines or later, saying it's fake. bull. i did it all the time and we used to get banned because of doing it.we were just kids. the arcade makers realized it was happening and they fixed the machines so you can't do it anymore. that was mid to late 80's when they fixed them. fact
