@@pompaimayone of the new artifact sets in 2.3 gives a bonus to burgeon damage, try getting full EM on that set and stick him with a fav lance. Team I personally use is Thoma Fischl DMC Xingqiu. Rotation I use is Fischl E > DMC E Q > Xingqiu E Q E > Thoma E Q normal attacks (for fav procs + seeds) > DMC E and normal attacks (for fav procs + seeds) > Thoma normal attacks (for fav procs + seeds) then repeat

Eula take is so based , as someone who had her at C0 and weapon , used her up to the point that i got my raiden national team running on open world. if raiden beidou worked, we would've got a team thats almost perfect as national +crowd control +no energy problems +nuke dps +shield and this is with only 2 chars, who knows what you could build with the 2 other team slots
It would definitely be a broken combination but not without some weaknesses like how Beidou sucks in single target and also since most of the damage on the team would presumably be electro if there is electro immune enemies then it is kinda screwed where national would have xingqiu( or childe for international) doing good hydro damage and doesn't struggle in single target or aoe.

I always die before even I have hard healers like Bennett and Diona. Even how hard I do my best to dodge, I still die. Dying often made me quit playing the game for a year. But when I got Zhongli, I don't die anymore in battles. I get to enjoy playing the game even more. That is Zhongli and I do believe even how big head you are trying to show off your dodging skills, idaf. Zhongli is still a must have character. Zhongli can be placed to most of the teams and he is the best in shielding purpose, comparing him to Childe who has the most complicated kit, minimal team comp and comparable to other main dps role is completely absurd.

It just depends on your skill and goals. You don't want to muscle-memorize the attack patterns of a fuck-ton of enemies and bosses? Zhongli trivializes that. You feel confident in your dodging, i-framing, and swapping skills? He'll still be good to make rotations brain-dead easy, but not something that will improve your performance. You have actual butter fingers and not having a shield means you die on bosses like Magu Kenkki and the dendro bird, and Raiden destroys you? He's a must pull for you specifically because you will die 300 times less often and will enjoy the game a lot more

@@soumya9484 Because of how overrated he is. Characters like Bennett, Kazuha, Xingqiu, etc. deserve their praise because of how much they can do for the team. Bennett almost doubles your ATK stat while healing large amounts without even building for healing. Kazuha crowd controls, buffs your DMG by a significant amount, can utilize 4pc VV, has the most reliable grouping in the game, and gives a decent amount of personal damage. Xingqiu gives a lot of personal damage, enables so many teams with his insane off-field hydro app, and gives a bit of defensive utility which removes the need for a healer in some times (like sucrose taser). Meanwhile, Zhongli gives a massive shield and a small damage boost, which is good, but nowhere near the utility of the other characters that I mentioned, yet some people say he is "on the same level as Bennett".
@@soumya9484 theres no "must pull" BUT meta-wise exist "game changers" characters, dps wise Ayaka/Hu tao, Suport venti Kazuha Benny, subdps Raiden Yelan, and for me theres the "true game changers" Nahida Venti Nilou(for dendro enjoyers) those characters open a big window of team compositions and give you confort for every event and abyss reset

I'm surprised Childe is lower than Zhongli tbh. I'd always rate Childe higher because his team rarely goes off-meta (even tho Childe is replaceable by Xingqiu, Yelan, Ayato) but Zhongli is also replaceable and many teams don't even need him
It's not a matter of whether or not you NEED Zhongli for meta, it's more a matter of whether or not you value what Zhongli offers. TCs tend to overvalue maximum team dps and Zhongli is technically a damage loss since he doesn't offer personal team damage/significant buffing capabilities. What they don't understand is that once you pass the dps threshold required to clear difficult content, it doesn't matter if Zhongli leads to less team dps if he makes the game extremely comfortable to play and reduces the need to dodge/use i-frames.

I always die before even I have hard healers like Bennett and Diona. Even how hard I do my best to dodge, I still die. Dying often made me quit playing the game for a year. But when I got Zhongli, I don't die anymore in battles. I get to enjoy playing the game even more. That is Zhongli and I do believe even how big head you are trying to show off your dodging skills, idaf. Zhongli is still a must have character.
Zhongli can be placed to most of the teams and he is the best in shielding purpose, comparing him to Childe who has the most complicated kit, minimal team comp and comparable to other main dps role is completely absurd.

@@peak407 yeah exactly. But I agree with op. For some people having zhongli helps tons. I struggle with dodging and my ping is always all over the place. Having someone like zhongli helps me personally when I need it

It just depends on your skill and goals. You don't want to muscle-memorize the attack patterns of a fuck-ton of enemies and bosses? Zhongli trivializes that. You feel confident in your dodging, i-framing, and swapping skills? He'll still be good to make rotations brain-dead easy, but not something that will improve your performance. You have actual butter fingers and not having a shield means you die on bosses like Magu Kenkki and the dendro bird, and Raiden destroys you? He's a must pull for you specifically because you will die 300 times less often and will enjoy the game a lot more

Kazuha xingqui and benett are a must pull ive never rolled for zhongli cuz just dodge or use another shield for good resonance

@@soumya9484 Because of how overrated he is. Characters like Bennett, Kazuha, Xingqiu, etc. deserve their praise because of how much they can do for the team. Bennett almost doubles your ATK stat while healing large amounts without even building for healing. Kazuha crowd controls, buffs your DMG by a significant amount, can utilize 4pc VV, has the most reliable grouping in the game, and gives a decent amount of personal damage. Xingqiu gives a lot of personal damage, enables so many teams with his insane off-field hydro app, and gives a bit of defensive utility which removes the need for a healer in some times (like sucrose taser).
Meanwhile, Zhongli gives a massive shield and a small damage boost, which is good, but nowhere near the utility of the other characters that I mentioned, yet some people say he is "on the same level as Bennett".
@@soumya9484 theres no "must pull" BUT meta-wise exist "game changers" characters, dps wise Ayaka/Hu tao, Suport venti Kazuha Benny, subdps Raiden Yelan, and for me theres the "true game changers" Nahida Venti Nilou(for dendro enjoyers) those characters open a big window of team compositions and give you confort for every event and abyss reset

Im using thoma rn with nahida and also With xinqiu and fishcl and he is really good. I beat the other half of my floor 12 with this team easily.

I'm surprised Childe is lower than Zhongli tbh. I'd always rate Childe higher because his team rarely goes off-meta (even tho Childe is replaceable by Xingqiu, Yelan, Ayato) but Zhongli is also replaceable and many teams don't even need him
Zhongli is very overrated by most people but underrated by theory crafters. He's mid A/Top Tier at most.

It's not a matter of whether or not you NEED Zhongli for meta, it's more a matter of whether or not you value what Zhongli offers. TCs tend to overvalue maximum team dps and Zhongli is technically a damage loss since he doesn't offer personal team damage/significant buffing capabilities. What they don't understand is that once you pass the dps threshold required to clear difficult content, it doesn't matter if Zhongli leads to less team dps if he makes the game extremely comfortable to play and reduces the need to dodge/use i-frames.

@@nathanaelpierre9439 Yeah, this problem has been plaguing on the EN side of theorycrafting for a long time. Whereas on CN, it's the complete opposite, which is why it's no surprise that someone like Zhongli is still top tier and becomes a top 5 recommendation for 5-stars for everyone on their end.
