Ayesha - The Tall Tower

Giraffe is the tallest land mammal of the planet at an average height of just 16 to 18 ft.
Giraffe has only 7(cervical) neck vertebrae just like a human which are 10 inches long and makes the animal as an iconic mammal.
Giraffe prefers acacia tree species as the most favourite snack, the long prehensile tongue helps to grab the leaves.
The male giraffe is taller, heavier and slightly darker than the female.
The ossicones on top of the head are bald in male and small with a tuft of hair in females.These ossicones protect the head during the fight, which involves swinging the neck at each other to show their strength and is called " Necking"
Giraffes have a unique style of the walking called ' pacing' in which both the front and back legs on one side move forward together, then the other two legs on the other side move forward.
The giraffe can run very fast-around 35 miles (56 kilometers) per hour for short distances. They defend themselves with a deadly kick.
Giraffes are the most active animal that spends most of the day walking and grazing. They sleep only 5 to 30 minutes a day.
The population of the giraffe is vulnerable due to habitat loss and poaching for their meat, bone marrow, and tail hair.
