I am 80 yrs old. I played in Rock N Roll bands from 58- 70. I especially liked electric Blues, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. The point I am making here is I do know Rock N roll Music. That being said, The Turtles were an incredible group and their music is as good today as back then. There is a joyous element to their Music, you just gotta feel "happy" when you listen to them. They are under-rated, yet still relevant today, 2024! Howard if you see this, Thanks for all the joy you have given our planet. The Turtles Rock! mother F ker, and you can take that to the mother f--ken bank!!!!
Howard is still one of my all time favorite singers ever, I really hope that he gets back out there again and reminds all his fans how much that we need to hear him sing and see him perform.
Thanks for a wonderful Howard Kaylan interview. He and Mark were great together, and am glad those two are Happy Together, har har. I appreciate all the history, humor, candor and Howard's kind words about other artists. I love the release of the Turtles, All the Singles. Thanks, finally, for all the humor. Howard is right on about the lack of it in American Rock.
I'm surprised to hear Howard say that the version of "So Goes Love" that got released was inadequate because it didn't have orchestration. I always enjoyed "So goes love" and never thought it needed any changing.

Is this THE Mitch Weissman from Beatlemania?
@@juliatutor8099 Yes, it is. I played bass for Mark & Howard, Micky Dolenz, Gary Puckett on the 2012 Happy Together Tour as well!

Howard Kaylan could sing the alphabet and it would be worth hearing.

Howard doesn't put up with bullshit and seems to tell it like it is
