It's a safety feature in most bikes. If the fuel is too much, it drops the extra fuel out to keep to bike safe from any petrol related incidents. Always leave some space free.
How thats safety? Leaking petrol is safe?? Kya logic hai..waa
If you overfill, then Just the extra fuel is thrown out. Simple.

That's why you should read the user manual first . There is a warning about not filling more than 12 liters (page 69). So just just follow the manual and keep yourself safe from disasters.
I am a TVS dealer and I have faced same problem with my one customer .In BS 6 vehicle we should not fill full tank petrol.
In BS 6 vehicle we should mentain 1.5 ltrs of petrol. So every TVS dealer fills munimum 2 ltrs of petrol to the new bike as per company guidelines guidelines .
Do we have any fuel leakage issue from the tank and from the ABS in tvs ronin..

Once I did it same with the new ronin. Later I spoke to the showroom concern for the same. I was told everything about filling petrol.
Mere saath toh Issey bada kand huwa.. with in a week mei Heat hoke off hojari thi... Means bike fail hojari thi. Dimag qarab hogaya... TVs walo ku issue bhi nahi milta tha... Some how engineers from TVs company se aake issue solve kiya... They changed whole wiring.

Dear ! I have purchased the same bike and returned the Bike, the problem is in fuel tank overflow point welding (manufacturing defect), please recheck the same by opening the fuel tank and thorough check. (location of Purchase - KOLKATA). TVS after sales not so good.

Bhai daro mat, bike 200-250km chalao. Usko baad heating issue nhi ayega. Is bike me ye normal hai.

Please refer to the owner manual in terms of how much fuel to fill. Never fill till the top - max till the filler marking inside the fuel tank.

its for the EVAP system which captures vaporised petrol to be used in combustion

it tells to not overfill beacuse of EVAP system, it does not mention anywhere about leakage.
I think he has a faulty bike, highlly doubt the petrol should leak in case of overflow, that does not seem right

@@bhuvaneshdesai3053 You are right bas per the manual, when overfilled petrol dies actually leak out from the over flow system, i too experienced same in my CB350 on an ocassion when i filled 16+ liters.

why would manufatucturer save even vaporised petrol by EVAP system and at the same time waste by leaking out extra petrol for which it provides spacce in tank. doesnt make sense.
if this type of system is actually present in all bikes and not fault in this particular piece then its a bad system
@@bhuvaneshdesai3053 This is the case in CB350 or any other bike also, if we fill beyond the filler marking it will get collected in the vaporizer canister and leak from the exit pipe. This is done as safety precaution from fuel related accidents.

Fuel coming out from the overflow hole mostly happens when you make full tank refuelling while sitting on the bike. Later when you keep the bike in side stand the bike leans to one side and now the fuel leaks through the cap an comes out of the drain hole.
To prevent this whenever doing full tank get down from the bike and put it in side stand. DO FULL TANK ONLY WHEN BIKE IS IN SIDE STAND. You will never face any problems. I learned this after facing same problem (in some other bike)
