Guys please collab with DAVID ZHANG China insider. He's ahead of you guys on some things and has great sources in China as a former. Or a great xiabanho episode
I saw that the owner of AG1 is a criminal that started this business after his release. What's this all about
Its 0.0004% of US is homeless. It's pretty damn low.
The people in comments that try to talk about US politics are usually wumao they try to change the China subject of the show commy are tricky
I have live in communist Romania my first 15 years and they were exactly the same like CCP
It's not just US who does commercial space launches, ESA in Europe have a very robust system too with the Ariane rocket, which is reliable since decades, but also very expensive.
An Ariane rocket was used to launch JWST, one of the most expensive space projects, because they did not want to take any risks.
What's truly disturbing about the child getting in trouble for writing "I love Japanese people" is that the teacher said in the video another child dobbed him in. Snithch culture start early...
Imagine the discrimination the kid will get during break time
Creating hatred, whether for other cultures or among his classroom, is obviously unfit to become a teacher anywhere on this planet
Patriot probably wearing US military replica clothing, using an iPhone, American branded shoes, driving a Japanese car and using Japanese small appliances like rice cooker.
in an earlier episode a boy wrote in "what do you want to do when you grow up" he wanted to leave China and move to the UK... and he and the school got in trouble for that. i'm from the UK and if anyone wants to willingly move here then their home country must be really bad indeed, all the Eastern Europeans are fleeing the UK now as their home countries are now better
Old school communist propaganda was all about ‘report your neighbour’ for anything that could be anti-communist.
I love Japanese people.

Love that AG1 keeps sponsoring you guys. So many sponsors aren't willing to cover anything that is controversial here on UA-cam or social media in general. Which is stupid. Because so many companies do advertising on the news. Where there's pain, death, suffering, etc. it's such a double standard.
Ads suck
@@BrownEyePinch well youtube sucks worse, and it takes money to produce content.
It probably has more to do with the fact they're always ripping on china and china is such a huge market so companies are very cautious about burning that bridge. I don't agree w it I'm just saying
@@BrownEyePinchyou know you can just skip the sponsor part right? How childish are you exactly?
I get vitamins from eating the right kinds of food. A lot of those "vitamins" you take do nothing for you. You're just giving all your money to people who don't even care about you.
Reparations for missing the superchat. You guys are awesome and are shining a light on all of the garbage that the CCP tries to hide.
I travelled China for 4 and a half months and have travelled and lived in Japan,Korea ,Australia,Thailand ,Vietnam,NZ .
China is one of the most aggressive countries I have visited where I have felt unsafe and had to be on alert . Take in to account I lived in some of the roughest parts of Ireland{Ballyfermot /Limerick City}. I remember a homeless father and son I saw when I was crossing the underpass onto Tianamen square .The man was in rags and covered in dirt like his son in complete contrast to the wonderful images on the huge screens on show in Tianamen square .
No part of Ireland has ever been completely communist, whereas Tiananmen Square is a communist place as is the entirety of the People's R. of China.
What, but I thought homeless people don't exist in [redacted]

O love this podcast as well... I live in Europe and we have these firehouse in larger buildings as well but we least I know that they're working if we need them. We have very strict regulations on stuff like this and we have also everywhere Fire extinguisher as well and we know at least that they are working. I had to use those Fire extinguishers myself because some idiot were laying a fire in our house. And you can't even imagine how happy I was when these things were full and I could actually use them to stop a fire. Even though I had to sneeze out a lot of soot afterwards and my nose and bronchi were full of soot, at least I survived.
That could be one of the reasons I can't laugh if I see a firehouse that leads nowhere. Actually, it makes me panicking when I see pictures like these...
I lived 3 months in Japan. It's truly one of the safest countries in the world 🙏 I LOVE JAPAN
Japanese people also do not like foreigners. They are more civilized with it, but that's about it.

Dangit! Winston always gets me. I keep thinking, "THIS will be the episode where he counts down from five all the way without cutting himself off"... one day, one day!
This guy be the first trying to get true theUS!
That little boy tearing up his painting is heartbreaking. And the other kids are so terrified.
you guys are great! My longer stay in China was 1985. I was fortunate to go to HangZhou, Shanghai, QingDao, Hohhot, BeiJing, XiAn, NanJing. At that time I saw t-shirts in many places emblazoned with MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE. I figured it must be a case where someone had to unload thousands of misprints. Nice to know that the tradition continues.
The corporations need to crack down on bots. It's getting absolutely out of control.
It almost feels like majority of the Internet is actually bots compared to actual real humans.
Maybe to leave a comment you need to do a captcha. And maybe subscribe should do Captcha too and likes..unless there's another way to ban bots.
They are probably not cracking down on bots cause most of YT backend are Chinese workers. US overtaken over by Chinese people.
They should be able to triangulate all those phones in the same location and be able to block them. They're more worried about what people say then bots. That explains alot
16:20 Not only is it the wrong leg, but the whole point of crutches is to allow you to keep your balance while not walking with one of your legs.
sometimes having a crutch, or cane, or eyepatch, or hearing aid, or maybe crutches, eyepatch, hearing and booty or arm sling can get you off easy in court. i hobbled up to the judge bench and pretended not be able to hear him. some lady up there said: judge he cannot hear you, and the judge spoke up. my fine was 50.00. others who did the same thing (no seatbelt) got fined 150.00 you may wish to wear an olive green t shirt and at least be seen with a hat from some kind of doomed battleship or bloody battle, not to steal valor but to avoid getting raked over the coals because one day you forgot your belt while going 30 mph for 2 miles on a side street to take your dog to the park.

Lovely orange hydrazine/udmh clouds. It mixes with the moisture and mucus in your lungs to make a highly corrosive acid.

-219- REPRESENTS!!!!
(219) is a urban legends area actually. It’s a little pocket of Indiana just outside Chicago Illinois. The area is not farm land like the rest of Indiana and is instead Industrial extension from Chicago South Side. “The Region” as it’s called is the only place in Indiana that isn’t on Eastern Time Zone like the rest of Indiana but instead shares the time zone of Chicago. You could almost call it the Hong Kong of Indiana . 😂
With the long noodles and weddings point. My mind instantly went to ''how much of the noodles can you take in your mouth before you gag'' since when your body realizes your throat is blocked, it makes you gag and heave to unblock it.
Good. Let's all help the Chinese out by reducing any Made-in-China purchases whenever humanly possible.
I noticed that electrical car charger stations have giant TV screens that don't shut down. I thought we were doing this to not waste electricity and they run ads non stop
Chinese school rules are just like the 1960s Catholic school rules and punishments were in Canada . They loved to strap kids under 10 years old . Some kids couldn't write after being strapped .
In grade 1 , at 6 years old my teacher locked me in the classroom alone during lunch time while everyone went home for lunch because I could not give a correct answer in arithmetic . I broke into tears and escaped and ran home . My mother was really upset but me and my brothers continued there in the Catholic school until I completed grade 3 .
We were strapped many times for almost nothing.
Yep, I got the strap from grade 5 on to the end of high school. It was only the boys who got the strap or cane, no girls.
We were really really mean to some of our teachers in the 2000-2010s though, so came full circle I guess.
@@TQFMTradingStrategies we were mean too, there was one teacher we regularly made cry. When she got upset she started throwing things at us. For some reason she was one of my favourite teachers lol, I dunno why.

That "target" is called a roundel. A, usualy nation, marker on (old) millitairy airplanes. Kind of blows the cammo. But helps avoid friendly fire. On planes these days the identifiers are usually in teint of the paint and a visual for the tower. As are shoulder flag patches from soldiers. Bit each country has a roundel. Just a round version of the flag. They used that instead of a plain flag, to avoid confusion between certain flags. And roundels look the same from all directions.
Yeah, WWII planes generally had them. It's not so common now, but Bolivia likes to do things their own way.
Military aircraft still have the roundels, they're usually just a lot smaller and subdued to remain legally uniformed. They don't have to be big and bright anymore because the visual identification that was necessary up to the Korean War is now replaced by radars and transponders.
This show reminds me that society doesn't naturally form into something beautiful. I need that to appreciate what my life has become lol thank you!
One thing about the moon landing is that USSR the main rival of the US during those times never once denied the moon landing because they actually tracked the launch themselves.
7:53 He actually even loses the pumpkin in the end. The chicken won in every way.
Area code 219 is NW Indiana and includes what I'm sure are a lot of the suburbs of Chicago.
The little boy who drew/wrote that picture around 40 mins in. Thats so damn sad. I feel so bad for him.
Please shout out the 405 area code next week. ❤
We had a bad storm that knocked the power out for the past 3 days, and it’s been the hottest week 🥵 At work, we’ve been running on a generator, and damage all around the city. The news even showed up. It’s been hot, humid, and busy at the car dealership. This show has been a blessing. I love hanging out with my husband and tuning in every Friday night. I can relax knowing the ⚡️power should be back tomorrow. 🥳
Maybe they could, but the whole point is that because this is the 219 episode of the China show, thats why they shout out 219.
You were laughing at the guy trying to open the locked door, what you never noticed was the lock was open 😆
42:30 Look at that! a moment of blue sky in China! I guess the wind was blowing just right that day.
In Kyoto, areas of Ginza are now restricting access, and banning tourists from their streets. Ginza is the historic neighbourhood where many traditional businesses reside, and there had been a long chain of misbehaviours from tourists disrespecting the people who lived there.
The rumour going around when the ban was announced was that what forced their hand was a Chinese tourist who tried to force a Geisha to take pictures with got mad when she refused, and dropped a lit cigarette into the back of her kimono. I don't know if she was injured, but the kimono itself was damaged beyond repair.
Guys, they couldn't show anything. It's the dark side of the moon! xD
That poor baby!! I want to cry for that little boy!! So cruel!! They really are horrible. Teaching hate.
It happens often enough that instead of standing around watching, everyone knows to throw their bikes on the ground and run away in a panic with their hands over their ears, despite the rocket segment obviously landing far away.
The first man on the moon sent by China will never be able to leave.
God bless the lady defending the kids and have mercy on her.
On the phone brightness poll, as I get older, I have to say that I CAN see things better when the brightness is set higher than the ambient light as the evening progresses, or indoors with less-than-bright lighting. Brightness matters as your eyes age.
To reap is “to gather a crop” and to sow, “to plant seeds.” Throughout versions of the Bible, sowing is used as a metaphor for one’s actions and reaping for the results of those actions.
05:46 That lock looks like it's not even locked. You can see the "slot" on the right side.
Winston, as a wearer of glasses myself, Corrective Lenses don't have a reflectiveness issue except in very weird circumstances. Usually we see a reflective glare when our glasses are dirty so the light reflects off the smudges. But thats when you take a cloth out and clean them.
In London atm
Never been this early to the China show
Very exciting
What’s new?
The NASA did hire Stanley Kubrick to film the moon landing but he was so perfectionist that he forced them to actually go there so the footage would be more realistic.
i read that part of the reason why they have multiple launch sites so far inland is to keep them away from the coast, in case of an invasion. would be interested if someone had stats on whether the cost is lower for having the launch site there.
a sample return from the moon is still a very significant achievement
funnily enough theres mirrors they set up on the moons surface to something to do with reflecting a laser designator or something to calculate the distance between surface of earth to moon and back, it was something that ive vaguely remembered from a few college students.
I love when The China Show new episode drops the same day as Bad Hasbara
max brightness on your phone is like max volume on your audio device. By Winston's logic he would also always turn up the saturation and vibrance to the max on any screen
They just had a "static rocket test" (ie essentially fire up the motors to test function, but it's SUPPOSED to stay in place) take off and slam into a mountain side. After this episode aired, so two rocket blunders in a week (that we know of)
Damn, you can see the fear in the rest of the children's eyes, and it's obvious all of those poor children have faced the wrath of this incapable despicable human being that has the gall to be referred to as a teacher!
Excellent show today Guys, cheers for the live real reel...100% in the bright
9:30 that's where all the fake Amazon reviews are coming from.
2:21 What’s the problem? The fire hose is there, all neatly rolled up.
There wasn’t a sign saying ‘hydrant’ or anything similar…
You can take the hose home, and connect it to the itches sink if you need it.
About the whole issue of screen brightness... I have never even thought about changing the brightness on my phone screen. I use it so little that I don't even know how to do that. But on my desktop computer, I do use a program called *"redshift"* to decrease the blue intensity at nighttime. It's more natural and comfortable to be in a more dimly lit space when it's dark outside. It's less disruptive to sleep that way too.
The guy's shirt (27:04) says "afraid of resistance - fear of abandonment"
I don't think he would have worn it if he knew what it meant.
So ironic😂
La mien is my favorite! When I lived in Changzhou, there was this little la mien place down the street I’d go to all the time, and one time I tried slurping one noodle all the way up, but I had to bite it off once both my cheeks got full of noodle and I almost couldn’t chew anymore 😅
China has drawn plans for their future looking very much looking like our lunar module.
01:18:09 That style of hat wasn't in existence in the late 1960's.
The shape is different from that timeframe, in fact I doubt the product they are made from was used to manufacture hard hats back then.
The Tiger 4x4 made me cringe.
My wife and i own a 30 year old Mercedes Unimog from the Bundeswehr and from her parents, she inherited a half a century old, badly worn from rural siberia Ural 6x6 and these vehicles would not break from hitting a curb, but driving over them.
The wheels on the Tiger 4x4 are way too small too. They used a city SUV as base, i assume.

Holy Chinaman, Honey, the boys are on!
For sure the man on croutches wanted to keep his shoe dry like the other man! 🤭
1:20:16 - Those are called "clapperboards" but are usually just referred to as _slates._ _(It wasn't until synced sound that the clapper was added to the slate board)_
A "pallet" is a makeshift bed or those low wooden platforms used in shipping.
29:10 Those are the Chinese products I love to buy. Products that are made in the same factory with the same manufacturing for a fraction of the price with a different name
I'm going to point out that just because someone looks homeless doesn't mean they actually are. Back in the 90's, before the Philly police started their long term crackdown on panhandlers at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, those beggars could make an average of $200 PER HOUR. Most of them actually just dressed the part and actually lived in expensive homes in the suburbs.
Great show, thanks.
Can't believe I missed this. Getting so close to watching live. Looking forward to the 813 shoutout!

Did anyone catch the fact that the clapperboard was DIGITAL? They didn’t have that in the 60’s. Didn’t have it for decades and decades after.😂
Reminds me of my teacher at elementary school, she didn't beat us but she said things like pokemon is to enslave animals just like how Japanese enslave Chinese ppl back in the day so we shouldn't watch any Japanese anime lol.
5:34 TBF the majority of American locksmiths will just break the lock as well, so they can sell you a new lock.
In 2015 China could not manufacture the ball point for a pen and nine years later they are landing on the dark side of the moon, where communications do not exist with Earth stations.
That is an impressive level of mimicking and rate of change.
Plus, if you came from a Society where people receive accolades for ignoring safety processes and cutting corners to increase profit, you must be very courageous or suicidal to be willing to board a Chinese spacecraft for its maiden flight.
They had help.
NASA gave the cartographic coordinates of the dark side of the moon that only NASA have from its 2009 Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission without it, no landing possible.
NASA also helped China in making flight guidance instruments and American scientists from the LRO mission helped China on its landing.
Russian scientists worked on the Chinese Rover to make it resists the radio-isotope heat
German scientists built the Neutronic wave detector of the probe
Swedish scientists built the neutral atoms detector of the Rover
Dutch scientists helped to built the low frequency radioelectric detector of the Queqiao satelite relay
And the European space agency ground stations helped China in managing the probe
All things that Chinese scientists were unable to do by themselves.
It's the far side not dark side, it gets just as much sunlight as the near side.

1:31:40 or so, all about how China went to the far side of the moon and took samples. Sure, it is impressive they're furthering technology by extracting samples from the moon to see what it is, but if you dig a LITTLE bit deeper, it's China specifically landing on a very specific area to sample to see if there's I think Helium 3 (maybe?) there.. for whatever reason, I think that's an EXTREMELY valuable resource that we're kinda low on here on the Earth (so far at least), and I think that China thinks that if they 'find' He3 (I think) they can mine and sell it because they 'own' the spot they found it on. Which, I suppose they do if that's still how things work.. Not sure.
