Classic Waterloo-built John Deere 4255, 4755 and 4955 ploughing heavy clay in Suffolk with Dowdeswell DP2 9f and DP6 6f ploughs. 24 furrows per pass, pulled by 562hp.
A very roughly edited video just to show them in action. - Наука та технологія
Great Video, fantastic tractors and action, thanks for sharing
Great video to watch and hear. The older JD's were real kingpins in the development of tractors
A relentless steady grind gets the job done.
those old girls look like they are looked after, no smoke as they are running perfectly and serviced properly
No need for mega-expensive JDs, or new shining ploughs..Old Skool can get the job done..great vid..Thanks for sharing.
And probably make more profit too
Those old John Deere's were the nicest looking tractors of their time even today they would out run any of these new computer's on wheels all you need is an accelerator and power on
I like your front aiming stake on the 4755 ! Make a straight row !
Très efficaces ces bons "vieux" John Deere.Le 4455 était un formidable tracteur.
Some really nice machinery there!!!
Great to see the old girls working hard and no smoke in sight
Those john Deere`s sounds SO nice! :D Nice Video
B E A U T I F U L WHAT A SOUND
Die John Deere Traktoren der 55er Serie sind sehr kräftige Schlepper mit tollem Sound. Im Verhältnis zur Motorleistung der Traktoren haben die eingesetzten Aufsattelpflüge viel Arbeitsbreite.
I love International Harvester but can't ignore the power of John Deer.
love that beautiful sound
thats amazing the old deeres pull better and more then their new brothers so good to see this yeeeeheeee :D
Amazing video!!
Go! Deere, Go! I'm thrilled. Hallelujah!
Brilliant video mate really cool job on it don stay safe mate 🤠🇬🇧👌👌👌
THE SOUND I NEED IN FS2019
I couldn’t agree more mate they sound so good

The cost of the plant ill not let , you Think on the cost of the plant . in this video I bet 2 million give or tack. an years wages for 6 men back in the 70 , now the tractors are doing their job's . no I'm not knocking it just how it is That a lot to get back to Mack a profit. they cant afford to pay wages to day .
seems like you folks have really dialed in traction, fuel usage, plow size
John Deere Tractors Exelente Machines for Work Here in Brazil
Nice video!
transmissão powerquad , power shift ?
Good Work !!! :)
Nice plow , but i think it is very lot of plow for this johndeere 130 it is very low ??
Lovely video, with great sounding engines. Is this a normal working farm or three likeminded "enthusiasts" enjoying a day out together?
Hi Bob, a bit of both, working towards something even bigger!!!!!!!!
Sir I am interested agricultural work with your team I am a opreter all Traktor
I believe Dowdeswell recommended using optional intermediate bogey when ploughing with large articulated tractors. Since these tractors are conventional rigid frame machines, is there any benefit to be gained by using said bogey in this instance ?
I'm guessing less mechanical strain on both tractor and plough since they're not so rigidly attached to one another but the two larger ploughs must be a bit of a nightmare to reverse, when setting up for the next run down the field ?
Really nice video, favourite John Deere series. The 4755 engine has a weird knocking noise though..
that's the straight pipe
@@franklinnewton5265 must be deafening in the cab

He added a 60 series exhaust and intake to the 4955, nice
Lovely tractors dont thing the guy infront looked back at his plough once though
How îs posible to drag a plought with these many furrows with such low horse power tractors???
200 hp low?
That's a lot of plow for those tractors.
UK buddy its plough..
Was that filmed in Essex by any chance?
Close, but a little further north. See this for more info: anglianagrimedia.co.uk/p55.html
sees 80s jd HOLY FUCK I NEEDA LIKE THIS VID
... so the EUROPEAN 4755 is actually a 4760?
Remember back late 1990s when €Euro was first created the exchange rate was like EURUSD 0.80 .... compared to 1.13 here in 2020.
So, we were looking to have a European 4650 MFWD ~3000hrs (with air breaks, no duals, xtra weird lighting) shipped to Midwest for like $25,000.
But I do remember some numbering oddities also .... like this Euro 4755 actually being a
What's the difference between the 4255 and an older 4350/4240s...?
I might be wrong but I'm guessing difference in horsepower
@@seamusm84 the stand of them is different I reckon, could it be the front axle also?
@@dmcg6074 nice tractors though I started off driving a 4240s can't beat the raw power
Piękne jelonki :-) pozdrawiam

Yo tengo un 4255 y nadamas mueve 3 palas
need to take off a couple of furroes or add more horse power
Is that hedge protecting something, strange place to have a small paice of hedge, random.
Some rough ole boys there.
le quelle et équivalent au 7710
👍👍👍
Los tractorcitos y demás maquinitas, an rebajado en demasía la gran cantidad de empleo que había hace 50 años.
This is proper farming not like these girls with there GPS and 50 screens in cab and there posh bit of rug on floor 🤣😂
that's bullshit
Can never understand why guys moldboard plow.
Looks like heavy soil most likely trying to avoid compaction.
Plowing isn't an effective way to fight compaction. Especially moldboard plowing that actually causes compaction.
@@3.6roentgen61 plowing and discing after the plow doesn't cause more compaction.
Think about it. When the plow is digging in the ground the surface presses against the soil. This causes clumps of compacted dirt. The problem is worse in wet conditions. That is why it recommended that you avoid plowing if the soil is to wet to crumble. Also, you are creating a hard pan layer if you plow at the same depth every year.
INARRIVABILIIII,,FATEVENE UNA RAGIONE JD ALTRO PIANETA
Confused .... all that tillage, then what?

Now that's what you call a mans tractor jd if it's not green it's not to be seen yall 😁

The plow is big, but it depends alot on the type soil. It would have stalled the tractor in what we call our heavy buckshot background her in Arkansas

Too much plow for those tractors!
