It’s nice to see other normal people work on cars and find out stuff like this. I thought I was alone when I did 4 upgrades to my car just to realize my hei module needed to be replaced. I remember replacing spark plugs fuel pump all sorts of unnecessary things just to find out it was a bad Module. Also got my car towed from the gym to my house after trying to jump start it and asking friends to come help me jump it. Just to find dont when I got home that a wire from the starter had broken off. It’s crazy man. Anyways sorry for the rant thanks for showing this. I have a 1991 mazda 323 that I just got and am restoring on my channel. Def need to change me fuel filter
Funny you should mention it, my buddy just had this car towed back to his house cus something else gave out on it. Problem with these older cars is no matter how nice they are, every wire and hose on there 30+ years old and waiting to fail unless it gets replaced. Sweet little cars though, I love the fuel pump access
Update my wagon. Pulled out fuel pump. All rusted out including the fuel pump hanger. No longer available. Bought one found in Holland, got it, beautiful shape ! Bought new fuel tank from “Dorman” products. Will get it install this week.

Whats funny is I have two but one was broken and I didnt realize then. I couldn't find the other one till after the car was fixed!

It's been awhile but I believe it was on the transmission side. Sure did interfere with the ignition system
