Yeah Westbrook has earned the right to play through his mistakes, he is a proven player in this league if they give him a longer leash it will pay off dividends because his strengths outweigh his weaknesses
He played ok in 1 out of 4 games. Nuggets barely scraped by 2 wins in overtime because Jokic is playing 42 minutes per game at above MVP level of production. And his fg percentage was 5 -12 in that "ok game". Against a fairly week team from Brooklyn.
This nets team just beat bucks & grizzlies. Russ was the top points scorer for nuggets on up to his leash was cut for clutch time. The first few games they were figuring out lineups. This was the first game he got to actually run a unit. He’s been a volume scorer, his impact is always felt with more usage. Its not gonna always play okay in that limited time.
@@Sanamac1 Backing your words is wishful thinking and imagination. My words are backed by stats and reality. And you will see it more and more as serious teams start abusing the weaknesses this Nuggets team has now because of Westbrick.
@@lanelesic stats & reality shows that with higher usage Russ impacts games. Reality is they are 4 games in & are figuring things out. First game they were literally running Russ at SF (murray strawter & russ) was on the court at the same time. 5/12 whoopty doo bash it like it isn’t 1 shot away from 50%. Speak on his 10/10 from free throw & 2/2 from deep.
@@lanelesic everybody loves to point out shot making. Lebron just went 3/14, zion 5-20, Luka 10/28, Harden 4-15 😂😂😂 Russ has been a volume scorer his whole career, he’s not gonna always look good on 10 shots. Reality is its more to basketball, metrics are already saying his the best defender on that team also.
@@Sanamac1 And he went 2/10 and 1/6 vs OKC 0/8 and 0/3 in the second game and 3/7 and 0/1 in the 3rd. He is a volatile washed clown and Nuggets need to dump him asap.
maybe when hes more established, but look what happened when he got traded to the lakers as a top 3 starter player. he was blamed for losses and just wasnt good.

@@corysimmons455 right, when other ppl have bad games it’s just a regular day
Hes on his dream team. They just gotta trust him to work through his stuff
Westbrook looked good. I think he could be great coming off the bench. It will take time to build chemistry though.

If anything he pressures the paint enough that they wont be fresh when joker comes back in after his breathers
Great point
I agree
Nuggets still need to improve their defense, but they are improved over last year.,
Russell westbrook needs to be the starting point guard stop this off the bench crap

@SamuelPhilippi still needs to start the nuggets play to slow and need better defense
@@corysimmons455No, nuggets will lose their depth if he start.

@@corysimmons455 You a westbrook fan? Its already set that he will lead the second unit tho. You cant change that
Still early
Russ on vet minimum yeah he legit but when he was getting 40 million, he’ll nah
didn't he score 35 points in one game with the Clippers??
40 and 41 on lakers
20mins bro
Bricks from any spot, the worst trade ever 😂😂😂
If Russ can hit 35% of his 3's he will be a still at that price.
He did last year but it was from corner tho. Idky nuggets won’t put him in the corner because he actually make shots from there
Dude forgets that opponents are Brooklyn nets
lol cuz they beat a terrible team in overtime hahaha 😂 again hahaha
