Random question, but I figured someone in the comments might know this because I've never experienced it before yesterday. I purchased a knockoff Switch Pro controller, specifically by the YCCTeam. The controller is actually a solid build and is imo, close to perfect. So I play Mario Maker 2. Long story short, gamers know how button combinations and how they're pressed can affect the game. I designed a part of a level that's intended for the player to use a specific amount of pressure on the jump button to reach the next frame without failing and having to repeat the process. It's worked on every other controller I've used as it should. But this controller, and if anyone wants proof, I'll gladly record, when the combination of buttons are used, (run+jump+semi-circle) Marios gravity alters and makes it impossible to achieve the jump. It's mind blowing to me because it basically overrides what I'm assuming is part of the games engine/physics and gravity. But how is that possible? I'm genuinely upset because I love the controller otherwise, and if anyone knows how this is possible, I would greatly appreciate a response.
Does the Controller have a menu? Like you Connect IT to a PC and you can edit stuff? Otherwise ITS more of a duration how Long you Press Not how deep you Go
@timo4463 not that I know of, and my PC is down but I tried emailing them, to no response. I really wish you could experience it for yourself. The controller is 23 dollars on Amazon and I would send you my level code and point out the specific part of the stage. It's otherwise a very solid build. YCCTEAM advertises Switch controllers on their homepage but for whatever reason, they're not available to purchase or view. Very strange. It's hard to put into words, but I assure you, it works with a plethora of other controllers when the inputs are done correctly.
