I prefer Sims 3 but I love Sims 4 too! Sims 4 definitely has problems, but seeing constant negativity is so exhausting. The above comment proves that. People are so negative they can’t even let people talk about enjoying a game. People are so annoying.

If you love to throw your money out for a company who does not care and sells you broken packs that are unplayable good for you. I played sims for over 15 years but ppl with no brain give them money for no reason, why should they work hard. I get the love for the game in general but not under this condition, thats just brainless @@Aboogie_
It is pretty nice to see how sims interact with family or how everyone do things together. Which make me wish we had more group activities, like bingo or even that game with the frog? that you throw coins into its mouth lol is so fun and seems to be an easy enough animation to create.

The Sims in Sims 4 seem more like pretty dolls than vibrant characters. In Sims 3 and 2, they acted on their own, had desires and fears, and unique traits that really shaped their lives. In Sims 4, you have to micromanage everything including having to force the decisions they make, which can feel tiring.
I have to agree. I spend most of my time in Sims 4 playing dress up / building / decorating /staging photos. In Sims 1-3 I just jumped in, played the game, and got lost in it for hours. Most of my gameplay in Sims 4 wouldn't even really qualify as gameplay as it's mostly playing pretend with stories in my head...the "traits" aren't actual traits and can even be incompatibly paired with preferences, and all my sims act the same no matter their traits anyhow.
I'd never call the game top tier, but I appreciate it for what I consider it as. But I absolutely respect that, to some, it's the best simulation game for them.

Other packs that you can add - since Joy is going to age up soon into a teen - High School Years & University. Get her some high school/teenage friends and get her to have some ideas for going to college? She could have roommates from San Sequoia and move to Copperdale when she's an adult - in my mind the two aren't that far away from each other.
Also if you were to add another Stuff Pack then yes to Backyard Stuff because I'm pretty sure it adds some water/summer based activities like the water slide I think? It's not a bad pack to have if you want some things to do in the Spring and Summer.

I love the sims 4 too. I understand where the hate is coming from, and I agree it needs work. But I can't help but love it and go back to it whenever I want to play a game. Mods and cc help, but the challenge of playing without mods always keeps me interested!

It’s so weird seeing people ask why people hate on sims when this game doesn’t even work. Literally the worst of its franchise. It has 50+ dlc and still feels incomplete

@@oshinsims it doesn’t tho look at all the bugs still open some from 2018 or launch. Sure some don’t have grade breaking bugs like you and I. But others have spent hundreds on this game and they can’t open the game, save are corrupted, etc. And players have to rely on mods to make the game have depth. Criticism of the game from CUSTOMERS are all necessary. Look at all the sale EA are pumping out. Of course some hate just to hate but others have been playing the franchise for years. Boycotting, petitions and criticisms are the only way we will see change in the game from a money hungry company

I played 2,3&4 for a few nonths in 2019 ( i do want to do that again) and can't join the ta4 hate. Instead what i got from playing all 3 was thinking little details are missing. Other than how districts need to be open and not shrinking. That's definitely big. I know while I'm thinking little details, some things could be complicated to code. I'm also not a fan of ts2 drama. 3 was that good spot. Reactions when you'd expect like catching a Sim cheating but not 24/7 like it felt eith 2.
I can't agree with the argument we have to micromanage our sims without a ton of mods because this is ts4. Yes, i have noticed people do deal with that but i don't think it's bow 4 was programmed. I don't deal with that unless i choose to turn off free will. Anyway, that's enough of my opinion on 4.
I hear you. Any time I play the old games I miss certain features from the newest one. They are all special and fun in their own unique way!

i've personally uninstalled the sims 4 cus it was just taking up space and non-functional 😭 but i did love this game when it worked, so i'll always enjoy watching youtubers play it!

You see how quickly Bruce came out as soon as Jill started to fire the cannon and seemingly had that fire extinguisher handy? Clearly he rigged it to catch fire for that 48 Simoleons insurance payment. I loved seeing Joy making new friends and watching them work on the project and also her playing with her Grandparents in the backyard as her parent's slept. So cute. Pleasantly surprised by the Lady Chiyo reference, puppet master.😎 I get what you mean about Kyle, I have a cousin who is my favorite as well, but she is younger. Oshin I love a good let's play (You know good story telling). Now the fact that you can play with only a few packs raises my eyebrow. I have not tried it at all. If you have ever seen something malfunction and turn into several images that would be me trying to play the sims4 with limited packs. I have to have all the things. I am enjoying this family so much and love that you are not using to many packs. I am going to do this in my game play. Still trying to choose what mods and cc I want to use it sure is hard to go minimal. I think In-between-al if that is a good word somewhere between minimal and maximum.
I love this family. So glad kyle is related to them now. I enjoy various aspects of the sims 4 and i love seeing how you and my fav sims players play the game in LPs.

@@oshinsims I struggle with this A LOT because I got so attached to this couple I made and I feel pressured sometimes to do the things I want them to in such a short amount of time. But thanks so much, I will definitely be playing with it on normal. I also like my seasons to be at 24 days, I don't know if that plays a factor for you. And just want to say I have been watching you for about 2 1/2 years now and you inspire my gameplay so much. I never make it past gen 2 😖.

cuute! i love playing with grandparents sometimes in my rotational gameplay, there's actually quite a lot to do, like inviting grandkids for a couple of days and spoiling them rotten! as always, all my back muscles just relaxed watching this, so cozy, so sweet.
that’s definitely the best part about grandparents! The girls have their own room at their grandparents home, I’m so excited to play the next part 🌷
