Technics SU-8600 Amplifier- Quick review and test

This is a short video about this beautiful amplifier, the Technics SU-8600. The amp boast 73 WPC into 8ohms with a 0.08 THD. It was built like a tank between the years 1976-1978. MSRP 1978 was $375. Prices have skyrocketed for well built vintage Japanese HiFi. Also, nice to see people refurbishing quality amplifiers and release for veteran and amateur hobbyists. 8600 Much better built than the newer Chinese Solid state equivalents.

Yes, a real beauty. Got the SU- 7700, 8080, 8022 (my first HiFi) and the SU/SE 90xx.
All pre-CD era.

Yes, this is from Hi-Fi-Engine - Load impedance Main, Remote : 4 Ω ~ 16 Ω - Main + Remote : 8 Ω ~ 16 Ω. I hope this helps! 🙂
