I did 5% all around and 35 on the fronts for over 12 years and it just wasn’t good so I went for 20 up front and a week later my tint waiver came thru from DMV 🤦🏽. Now I’m being SUPER CRITICAL cause now I CAN do 5 but don’t wanna steam off fresh film or even double it so now I’m gonna just wait. But thanks for your honest and to the point comparison.
Btw, I agee with the situation with the cops lately. Back in the 80’s we were getting pulled over for 20 and now everyone seems to be blacking out and I’m just watching. SMH!

Absolutely! I did the same with my other car. 20% on the front and 5% all around and it's much better!

I had 20 over a yr ago but took it off since I drive at night during the day it's amazing. Wish I didn't take it off. But have 50% ceramic.and plan to do 35 over it.and my setup is 20 front. 5 rear and back. And plan to get it darker. 35% all the way around in ceramic. Tint I have is normal it's not ceramic. But I'll get the driver side redone. It's nothing crazy but it's small hole I messed up on. But I prefer to have it right.

I have light sensitivity to my eyes as well and talked with my doctor got a medical exempt for front window tints as well, i have 20% but currently want to either go 15% or 5%. On 4/20 im going to get it re-done but not sure if 5% will be too dark at night to see but still want the privacy. Also worried about state inspection as im a NH resident.

That's what I'm gonna do, too. I'm gonna go darker. Find a local shop and show your medicine exempt, and you should be fine.

@@heatboxing79 they usually don't ask to see that in NH but the window tint laws have changed now can only get the windshield done buuut in the medical waiver there is a box that the doctor checks and it states " the applicant is under my treatment and care and in my professional opinion requires a medical waiver for window tinting". Now to me that means windows not the windshield
