For me, Hope River is Sasco’s greatest album, not because of the diverse lyrical display by Sasco, but more so the transparency and intimate relationship he shares with his craft. Like Toots said, “sing it like you feel it.” Hope River took me to a place where I often run for retreat/refuge, manage life struggles, sought comfort and peace. Indeed, the house of God, that is. MUSIC (Man Using Spiritual Instrument Correctly).
