I would recommend having a family member or friend ship them to you after you’re settled in. Pack them all up in the box or boxes the way you want and address them yourself so all your family member or friend has to do it take it to the post office!
You can definitely bring perfume overseas, but it's safer to pack it in your checked luggage. Avoid carrying it in your hand luggage to prevent confiscation. Just wrap it with your clothes for extra security. I've brought perfume this way in Dubai, and it worked out fine. Love!"❤❤❤
Hey! Can I know from where you purchased perfumes? I'm planning on visiting Dubai. It'll be of great help if you let me know. I'm specifically looking for some niche brands as my country market doesn't carry them.
As originally East European parfum lover, living in Europe and Middle East, currently staying in North America i understand the frustration when it comes to parfume transportation. I never expected such a price difference between Europe and America. Cant wait to be back and buy my Prada for cheap. 😂 and i was extremely happy to find Givenchy ( old version) in America!!
Be careful cause some perfumes are impossible to find in europe. The latest Arianas, Dossier, the cosmopolitan milk thingy and the sabrina carperter one, glossier… even the le monde gourmand… allimpossible. And anything Victoria Secret is quite expensive
@@esargee2707 yes! And even online, its also hard to get decants over here🥹 collecting perfumes is probably the number one reason why someone would choose to live in the USA 😅
You should get in touch with Amy loves glam. On youtube that's her channel.she just did a move from Puerto Rico to USA and went tru same thing.she knows how to get the perfumes by flight and packing them.i know she watches your channel.i don't think she'd mind if you connected with her.good luck!😊
Hi! In regards to your fragrances and how many you can travel with you may want to reach out to Amy Glam here on UA-cam. She just moved from Puerto Rico and had to ship some of her fragrances and traveled with some so she could tell you the In's and Out's of that!
hey, I know this cause I moved overseas permanently and had a lot of liquids to carry (perfumes, shampoos, conditioners, skin care) and as it turns out there's no limit on the number of bottles you can carry as long as they fit the overall baggage weight requirements. the 3.4 fl oz limit of bottles is only for cabin bag, check in bags don't have bottle size limits either. hope this helps
I do a strange thing when I see decluttering videos. I do a layering combo of the ones people are getting rid of, if I have them and it's so fun! Maybe it's weird and that's just a me thing but I love the outcomes so much!😅
Hi Ksenja it's probably already been mentioned but Demi Rawling took over 100 expensive niche bottles of perfume from Australia to Dubai in a suitcase I believe. She opened the suitcase at her new home and not one bottle was damaged. It's in her videos. 🌺💕
A friend of my dad visited Europe and bought 15-20 perfumes and put them in a suitcase. That suitcase was lost and since then never been found. I would be devastated if that happened to me. I actually put 4 in check in luggage and luckily all arrived safe and sound.
@@HarrisPilton789 I only mentioned it because another UA-camr did it that way. In the checked luggage of course not in the actual area you sit in. She wrapped the bottles in her clothes. I was amazed and bewildered.
I work at the airport and you can bring as many fragrances as you want as long as you check the luggage and it goes below the plane but there’s a chance of it breaking so you need to make sure that it’s packed really well. Now the 3 ounce rule is for carry-on luggage, so if you have some thing with you that goes into the plane with you, that has to be under a certain amount of ounces. And if you have multiple small items, you can’t have them all bundled up in one area, they will pull your bag aside and go through it and you might get a tongue lashing from TSA lol.
I’m so excited for you on your next chapter in life! I’ve been doing my own version of de cluttering. Like you mentioned about using up fragrances. That’s what I’m doing, use it like my everyday scent. And for other occasions I’ll put on my other ones. I don’t have a lot of perfumes. But I’ve discovered a ton that I love through your channel. I hunt for them when I go to discount department stores 😅. And I’ve gotten some of family into perfumes too. DBIR will be my number one & I discovered it thanks to you 🩷
As far as I know the limit for on board is 1l in 100 mL max each bottle...so I'd say you'll have to pack them. It might be easier for your family to ship a box of fragrances to you after you're already there with FedEx or another courier
You should definitely pack them all up and check your luggage! Put your most important ones in your carry on but you can check them! Just make sure they’re packed super well and put fragile signs on your luggage :)
I traveled with all of my perfumes, not 200-300 but my whole collection. Pretty much an entire carry on bag of them and I had no problem. I just put a blanket in there so nothing was moving around but that was for my own peace of mind
How? TSA only allows 1 quart size bag of liquids in each carry on, can’t fit very many perfumes in a quart size bag. How did you get thro TSA with no problem?
@@teeeff8337 maybe because I had some in their boxes? I’m not sure. I’ve never actually put them in the quart sized bags even when I’m only traveling with a couple
@@alegose596 interesting. TSA is usually strict. Maybe you went through a laid back airport? I wouldn’t recommend Ksenja trying this while traveling to Europe, it’s too risky if you get a TSA agent who’s a stickler and doesn’t allow it. She’ll then be left to throw them away or risk checking the bag and the perfumes breaking during transit. But I’m glad it worked out for you that you had no issues.
@@teeeff8337 yeah I mostly fly out of a tiny airport in California so half the time the workers don’t even want to be there. I was also thinking she could ship them out in those insulated boxes and have some of her family that’s over there store them for her but I don’t know if that would be an option
@@alegose596 yeah, I was thinking shipping them to family until she got there would be the best option too. There’s ways to make sure they don’t break during transit. Probably very expensive to do, but her collection must be worth $1000’s so it’d be worth it rather than to repurchase everything.
Moving from Europe to the US, I travelled with about 30+ full bottles (could’ve done more). Everything else I wrapped with thick socks & pack in boxes with & shipped with my household goods
Ahahaha, I know a way around this problem. Ship them! Why travel with all your stuff when you can ship them? You're ending up in Greece so ask Mom if you can ship everything to her. Wooden crate with well wrapped bottles in cushioning.
This was my high school era exactly with the Britney and chance and escada and nude Rihanna in my 20s love how you did that era and decluttered it all tog great job
I wish you the best of luck on the moving and many blessings with huge positive vibes!!!! I’ll keep watching your videos no matter how far you go ! Love from Kissimmee Florida ❤
Would sending some of your fragrances in the mail to family members to hold for you until you get there be an option for you? Maybe you can ship them in bulk by sea or something? Please keep us updated on this because I’m curious too. Also Would you be willing to sell your Viva la Juicy Sucre box? Only the box and that would cut down on the bulkiness. I would totally buy it! 😍
It’s better if you put everything less than 3oz in a carry on bag and your bigger bottles should be in a checked bag. I had a 3.4 oz body butter and scrub and they said if I wanted to keep it I would have to check in my carry on as a checked bag and they would allow me to keep it. :( I let them throw it away because I didn’t have time to check my bag in and go through the TSA line all over again!
Its funny because my mother also loves classic perfumes and mostly floral. And i love sweet perfumes.Which is great.because I don't really want to share them . :)))))))))
I've seen time and time again perfume influencers say that some perfumes are very hard to come by in Europe. Just a thought but I hope you won't have such a hard time getting your preferred fragrances.
I just decluttered L'Eau D'Issey EDT on my Mercari, as well. I blind purchased it at a great deal in a going out of business sale. It had a floral note on the opening that I found nauseating. The dry down was OK, but overall it wasn’t my favorite. However, your mom doesn’t have all bad taste. I LOVE Chloe Nomade!
Firstly love your videos Ksenja but have been wondering about the Nirvana tshirt is it to support the band or just for fashion? I keep seeing so many people wearing them now I’m not sure if people realise where it originated from

Hello from California💕
I have a video request.
If you had to narrow your collection down to 10 perfumes & 10 body mists...what would they be?
Great suggestion or another suggestion is if she lost all her perfumes what’s the first 10 she would be immediately xx

Airline employees steal things out of luggage. I would be afraid to put a lot of fragrances in a suitcase.

The 3ml and under rule applies to carry in only. You can check however many in whatever size you want.

Also, take pictures of everything when it’s packed just in case they loose your baggage and they can give you money for anything that was lost!
I loved your banana bread intermission ❤ I bet your house smelled so good from the baking!
Gardenia (and white florals in general) ruins most perfumes for me, too!
If you check your bag you will be fine. I used to work for Tsa you can travel with as many as you want as long as its under 3.4 oz or less

To your new address?
Can you ship fragrances?
Just transfer all the perfumes to travel 10 ml sizes I guarantee you won’t use all of the liquid anyway since you will bring multiple perfumes
Where are you moving?
Could u get ur belongings shipped in a shipping container then u don’t have to declutter ur life too much
