Thank you for this tutorial, I had been using Krea for a few weeks and didn’t even know about the character training, it’s a useful tool. I played around with it and discovered that if you take the character strength down to around 60% and then specify an age in the description you can make them look older or younger
I tried it, I'm not saying it's not good, but it will NEVER stop anyone from subscribing to other platforms, because Krea has an unsustainable and ridiculously expensive pricing model. I have paid 2x for a month's subscription, only to discover that simply generating a few clips (maybe 5...6 videos) took away all that credit. Then I purchased "compute power" again, 2x, and after only a few more clips, again, like 3...4 clips, all that "computer power" credit is gone. Seriously, for such a touted platform, the pricing model is ridiculously expensive and unsustainable for the underdog. Maybe the $ they are asking is no big deal for them, but for small creators.. it is a huge issue.
This is excellent. I tred Krea last night and fell in love with it. My question is about the real time image generation. What part of that actually uses compute units? I was using the canvas to create and there was a lot of moving shapes around, paint brushing etc... and I found tht after about 20 minutes I had used up all my compute bits on the free plan. So I assume just using the canvas area to build your photo is eating up compute bits?
We need a subscription killer. Wish we had a subscription monopoly where all stuff is at one place, like how amazon is for shopping. Also subscription platforms shouldve been a way to see something online, and not a way to gatekeep something and make life harder.

I've noticed that most models produce videos with a very slow-motion vibe, focusing more on creating a 3D-depth-like effect or slowly rotating the camera, rather than generating something dynamic and fast-paced. I’m looking to create videos where, for example, a character morphs into something else, then jumps, hits something, and the whole sequence happens at normal speed. I understand these models usually generate short clips (around 5 seconds), but the outputs always feel soooo sloooow moootioooon :P Or maybe there is some secret prompt I should use to generate fast-paced outputs? :) Great vid btw :) sub + :)

Hey Bob, how is video generation calculated? Is it 25 frames per second, meaning 125 images for a 5-second video? That would mean with the "Basic" plan, I could generate less than 6 animations per month, because you get ~720 flux images. Or is it 36000 real-time images? Been there done that. The problem is the site is so overly regulated that you quickly find out where your limitations are as far as how productive you can be with the site. There are far better uncensored sites that you have free access to do as your imagination desires and you can take that content and maybe Krea can help you enhance but that's about it in my opinion.
Well, that absolutely depends on your business model, and what type of images you need to create to make a living with this kind of technology. If you need a fully uncensored model, then yes, this isn’t going to be your option. But for a lot of working professionals, this is an amazing solution for countless use cases.
@@BobDoyleMedia I can't argue with you there, in that aspect it's great. Uncensored may have been an misunderstood word to use but really that's what sets all these API sites apart. Even if it's just IMG to VID for example, You can generate the image on a site and when/if you create a video from it, the same site may downgrade/reject the video for any number of reasons. Kling is notorious for it. If I pay for pencils I don't want to be told what I can draw with them. Typically the sites that restrict the most are the sites that allow everyone to see everyone's creations. People figure out the subscription hype when/if they get serious. Your videos are great by the way. Well Done.
@@SpiffyJack This is one of the reasons I don't pay for subscriptions. Image/video generation and music sites like Suno often reject my prompts. If I create and then publish something illegal it should be my problem. I've uploaded songs to my UA-cam channel that many (maybe most) people would consider to be in questionable taste. However, they don't break any laws or infringe on any musicians' copyrights. And even if I did, the tools I used would not be responsible.
I'll answer that question. No, Krea will not end all subscriptions. Krea lured in everyone by offering services that supposedly didn't care about nudity or whether or not your movie scene took place during a Civil War battle and then pulled the rug by installing horrifying censorship filters that would have made even the original Puritans blush. That, in my opinion, made their output significantly worse than it used to be. No one should ever support such deception and anyone trying to do real work will use one of the dozen other free "enhancers" or "livecanvas" options.
Hi Bob great introduction to Krea, in your travels through different AI platforms have you come across any AI that can animate a cartoon animal character to synk its talking to a text script I have seen some that can do it with people but not animal characters? many thanks.
I haven't found anything reliable with animals yet. I haven't tried with Act-1 over on runway, but they specifically say they're looking for human faces - but I would imagine that's on a roadmap somewhere.
Did you not see the section on creating custom model? That is absolutely consistent character ability. You might want to make sure you watch the whole thing before you make a statement like that...unless you have a different idea of what a consistent character is. In my mind, if you create a style model of someone, and you can maintain their look across all generated images, that's consistent. What's your definition?
I think that you are kind of late on this video as they've been doing these for over a month now. Great job though. If you want to stay ahead of the game I don't think anyone has done the new Hailou AI chat and the Hailou free and unlimited text to speech, well except for me on my other channel.
Really? So can you tell me what is actually happening? Are you getting an error, or is the option just not there? I'd really like to be able to help you with this is I can.
@@qotrja1 I'm actually getting errors with Luma and Runway right now, but Hailuo works. So it's probably just a temporary glitch - although if it's been happening to you for 2 days, I'd definitely hit up their support if you haven't already. That's definitely not right.

@@TheFeedRocketwow. Your brave. AI is changing so much I'd hate to commit to one platform for a year. Midjourney say that got a video gen coming out. And they say it's amazing 😂😂
The Vdeos created by all video AI companies are pixel garbage. The tech is great and interesting, but not good enough to pay $60- a month for, as the output is useless besides some giggles....
I could not disagree more. The images are “awful?” By what standards exactly? I have clients RIGHT NOW who not only “accept” these results but are in awe of them. These are professionals with years of experience having headshots done. If they love it and pay for it, it’s definitely acceptable.
Which are those far better uncesored sites? I am interested too :)
waiting for open source and free options that will kill all subscription models.
I use krea.
Yes is true but is not much generation we can us. We get more if we just go to one platform.
No consistent character there , they’re still a way to go.
The glif site did not show the Flux Prompt Enhancer, making the video worthless.

Unfortunately, Krea can't work with video 😢
What do you mean?
it's good but they need to add an editor
minimax is not called that anymore
I think that you are kind of late on this video as they've been doing these for over a month now. Great job though. If you want to stay ahead of the game I don't think anyone has done the new Hailou AI chat and the Hailou free and unlimited text to speech, well except for me on my other channel.
I think basedlabs does it far better then Krea, and dont push crazy censorship
Krea ai it’s the greatest ever but it’s expensive
Krea is great but still pricey
Payed the full price and for 2 days its genrating only pictutes the video in not working at all 😭
Really? So can you tell me what is actually happening? Are you getting an error, or is the option just not there? I'd really like to be able to help you with this is I can.
Error. I tried every way possible
@@qotrja1 I'm actually getting errors with Luma and Runway right now, but Hailuo works. So it's probably just a temporary glitch - although if it's been happening to you for 2 days, I'd definitely hit up their support if you haven't already. That's definitely not right.
@@BobDoyleMedia I didn't try hailuo , I ll give it a try. I did send them 2 mails no answer yet . I hope it's temporary. Thanx anyway. I actually joined after seeing this video 😁
@ It really is an amazing service. Maybe they’re just getting overrun right now. The API is getting clogged or something? That’s totally an uneducated guess. 😄😄
actually, i know an ai tool providing all in one solution.i think it is conveinent and can cut the fees!
Any bf deals in Krea?
Yeah I would buy a year if I got a deal, I got Kling and Freepik on deals...I'm just buying everything with deals.
I got 5 minutes in You talk way to much just rambling on.
Is your background AI?
But the images are awful. All of them. Fast is not the same as good. It's all fascinating but a long way off being acceptable.
I could not disagree more. The images are “awful?” By what standards exactly? I have clients RIGHT NOW who not only “accept” these results but are in awe of them. These are professionals with years of experience having headshots done. If they love it and pay for it, it’s definitely acceptable. Subjective I suppose but I’m thrilled with the quality and have been doing this a long time.
@@BobDoyleMedia Understood. It's just my view. The fantasy images can't be compared with anything else. My feeling is they generally have a 'Disney' wash over them which I personally find repetitive. I think we've learned to be generous with the photo realistic images. They are either right or they aren't and 6 fingers is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to inaccuracies. I love your videos so forgive me for being frank. I look forward to the day they really match our expectations. Who knows, that might be tomorrow!
