Love your comparisons. One reason I love them is because you know Samsung devices from the inside out, quite better than other UA-camrs I'd say. You're able to go to the little details to be able to show a real comparison, just like the comparison made between the "action button and side key" and mentioning Registar for example.

I had the very first iPhone up to the 8 and then switched to Samsung and even tried a Pixel. I stuck with Samsung up to the S22 Ultra, and loved the phone, but noticed that iPhone had finally got most of the options I had been waiting for. I.E... Usb C, 120hz display, AOD, Widgets etc... I just switched back and pre ordered the iPhone pro max. As someone that has owned both, I can honestly say that they are both great phones. I do miss some 3rd party apps, accessories and some customization, but for the most part it's been a pretty smooth transition and I love the phone. Honestly, they are vey similar now and both offer a great experience. Knowing both systems is an advantage for both phones, because you can try and take the best of both platforms and apply it to whichever phone you currently have. I currently have google and 3rd party apps on my iPhone, and it's been pretty seamless thus far. Google is better at some things and Apple is better at other things. All in all, these phone companies always trying to be the best is a win for all of us moving forward, because we can always choose what we want. From someone that has switched back and forth, just get whichever phone appeals to you the most in the future. Familiarize yourself with both platforms and choose whichever phone you want moving forward. 😁

I was a Samsung user who recently switched to iPhone. I hate how limited the iPhone is, disturbing my productivity flow. I'm thinking about switching back to Android phone and looking for other option like Pixel. I thought Pixel might be a better option since I used a lot of Google products (e.g. Drive) but based on your comment you prefer Samsung. May I have your opinion about the comparison between Pixel and Samsung?

    • @brettgrey5658
      @brettgrey5658 7 місяців тому

@@vandhiraliang2906 both are great and I enjoyed having the pure android experience on the pixel. When it came down to it, I just really liked the phone better and even stopped using nova launcher because I liked one ui so much. Samsung also offers a better “echo system” experience for me. I know it all works well on any phone, but having a galaxy watch, galaxy buds pro and a Samsung tablet made things very easy to manage. I have a feeling Samsung is going to ditch android one day and have a seamless tizen/one Ui similar to what apple does. On the flip side… the new pixel pro has been dubbed the smartest phone in the market. Not sure if this response helps, but I would just go to the store and play with both phones to see what feels good. Oh yeah, the S Pen is pretty awesome too. Good luck!

I recently made the switch from a Note 9 to the iPhone 15 PM, and I have to say, I really miss the One UI experience. It is extremely well though out especially for such large screens. Checking notifications single-handedly on the PM is nearly impossible. While still adjusting to some OS nuances, what surprised me the most was encountering various glitches on iOS, despite its reputation for optimized apps. Coming from a 5-year-old Samsung phone, I had higher expectations for a smoother experience.

I just switched from my iPhone 14 Pro to Samsung Galaxy s23 and One UI just feels a lot better. Having a back gesture and the ability to place apps where I want, along with other tweaks, is just a much better experience imo. For me, Face ID is one of the best things the iPhone offers. We even forget there's any locking feature there. Plus he learns to recognize our face even when we grow beard and can even see us in the dark.
But something I would miss much more, would be the smooth of operation and lack of concern with whatever Apps I've running in the background. One day I've found myself with more than 45 Apps opened in the background. Why someone may ask? Did I need them? Nope, It's just that I forget them. We don't feel any load on the system because of them. There are no crashes, not stutter, no noticeable battery drain. The only time an iPhone user restarts the phone, is when there's an upgrade.
Another major thing that I like is that I can easily run my iPhone for more than 4 years, always getting the latest iOS updates. And the processing power is still plenty enough to keep the phone running fast and smooth.

The AOD technically is not to have access to all your widgets. It is to have a very minimal screen that shows date/time and if you have notifications. You can't interact with the widgets on either AOD so I just want a clock and a small symbol showing I have a notification so Then I have the choice to pickup the phone which would wake it to interact.

I wanted to try iPhones after 10 years being with Samsung. But I feel like that it would me a "downgrade" and not and upgrade... The part that triggers me the most is how photos and files are stored on an iPhone. For pictures on Samsung are named in sshhyyyy but with iPhone it's different with names and there are no folders and that makes backups in Windows or Cloud impossible because you have to save everything in one folder. And you can't save camera photos and downloads differently which makes no sense for me... If you have any tips please inform me.

s23u is the best smartphone. S Pen, large screen, battery, 10x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, battery sharing, dex mode, free customization, easy file management, multitasking... There are so many advantages that it is impossible to list them all. The iPhone is pretty trash.

An FYI about 3nm's efficiency improvements. Using TSMC's own nymbers, the gains compared to the N4P process used on the A16 is literally about 7%. As crazy complex as lithography processes are, if u just look into the actual performance claims u can see it's hardly noteworthy. Oh yeah speaking of marketing hype, not a single dimension of a "3nm" or any remotely recent manufacturing process is close to as small as the name. As a slightly simpler version besides actual dimensions that confirm this, you can see from the quoted densities anyway. 3nm is about 50% more dense than 5nm but the name would suggest it should be (5/3)² or ~2.8x more dense. That's the other reason these new nm reductions, especially with 4 and 3nm have been so negligible as the names are continually straying even further away from the actual improvements.

I also have both phones as my work phone is a Samsung, and my personal phone is an iPhone. As with everything, they both have their pros and cons, just like working with Mac and Windows. I personally prefer the iPhone, but that doesn't mean that it is better, just like I prefer Windows over MacOS, even though Mac is less problematic and much more secure. I have always said that the BEST phone is the one that you enjoy using, and that works for your needs!

You mentioned ProRes for iPhone video, but not RAW and manual controls for S23U photography? Weird omission, considering you complained about the sharpened look (not a fan either) and RAW would get rid of it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Please do compare the Pixel 8 Pro since it has been significantly refreshed and has the long term support for the software and the hardware which can rival both Samsung and Apple's offerings.

i m torn between the s23u and the 15pm .. android are much more convenient giving you the chance to do whatever you want, multi-tasking etc. but 15 pro max provides more natural camera and A GREAT PORTRAIT MODE. i dont know... i think s23u is the safer option to go.. but i will regret not buying the iphone cause i got bored of the android system and its barely noticeable updates. Help? any s23u or 15pm user?

I have both an iPhone and Samsung phone but have a heavy Apple Ecosystem. When I use my Samsung phone, my watch is just a watch, can't use my Macbook with it, etc. I would say if you're on Windows then go with the Samsung, get a Samsung watch and earbuds.

I have this trust issue with samsung phones... so no matter how i try to convince myself to like and try the samsung flagships or any android phones because like the s23ultra, it is now half the price of the 15pro max. but everytime i check the s23ultra on mobile stores, i find it looking like a cheap android phone.i checked the s23ultra photo quality and i always find it inferior to the iphone photos! Is it just me? Am I an Isheep?😢😢😢

I switched from iphone to s23 ultra. I love it. I love both. One really isnt better than the other for me. It just depends on what you want. I wanted to be able to customize every little thing on my phone and the s pen. Android was the better choice for me. But if i ever want a simple easy phone, ill go back to iphone. I don't even notice a difference when i switched. Beside not having my apple id 🙄

Great video as always from you Ella, Happy New Year 2024 ! with more content. Myself last Year I sold the iPhone 12pro max, since the battery started quickly detonate, and then I got the z fold 4, wich was a mistake... the last few days without any drop it started producing some glue like substance from the hinge and I kept cleaning it, at the same time the inner display stop opening full, now two days later the inner display also got faulty with unresponsive touch and lines missing, also the phone now opens less...it is like 140 degrees... I quickly ordered an S23 Ultra, instead of an iPhone 15pro max, and I hope for the best... I will send the other to Samsung for repair hopefully free, it is still under warranty, but in short the last 3 Years I am out of pocket almost 3000£ for the privilege to have one and only top phone....
