Hi friends, today we're chatting about all things early pregnancy. This is my 5th pregnancy and hopefully the one that will bring us our earthside baby. After 4 miscarriages and 5+ years of infertility and IVF, this pregnancy is a result of our 3rd IVF Transfer.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND MY CHANNEL
I’m local to Kansas City but grew up a military brat so travel is in my blood! I married my college sweetheart, Anthony, in 2015. We’re absolutely obsessed with our two fur babies Xander and Willow. (Any other Buffy fans?) Anthony and I knew early on in our relationship that we wanted to have kids as soon as possible. We’ve been fighting the uphill battle of infertility for 5+ years now. Here on my channel, you’ll see a lot of videos pertaining to our trying to conceive (TTC) journey.
Though infertility does not define us, it has been a life-altering thing to go through. We find that this taboo topic is something we want to shine a light on by sharing our raw and real emotions through it. A few other things you’ll see on my channel pertain to lifestyle and wellness. Whether that be mental wellness, physical wellness, and beyond. A few other fun facts about me, I love to binge-watch a good show, sipping on some delicious coffee, and I’m probably planning my next vacation.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Sometimes I resent that we live in a society that is so uncomfortable with grief and anxiety that people feel like they have to say something positive, even when we just need them to sit with us in the unknown and accept our feelings for what they are instead of needing to "fix" them. It's totally okay and valid to be anxious and guard your heart after the trauma of multiple losses. You don't owe the world positivity.
I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant with #8 after 7 early losses, and one thing that was the hardest for me was the assumption that because we finally have a viable pregnancy, it now magically doesn't matter that we lost 7 others. Even though I am thankful for this little one, those babies are still real to me and I will always grieve for them. A rainbow baby doesn't magically make years of trauma and grief meaningless. Plus, I know all too well that even at this point, a healthy, living baby is never guaranteed.
💗💗 congratulations on ur pregnancy, I wish u a healthy baby and pregnancy. You are absolutely right, u will always grieve a lost baby no matter what and no matter how many children u might have. That was a little life inside of u that u will cherish forever. 🌈🌈🌈🌈

I’m so sorry for all you’ve been through, and pray for a full term healthy baby. I’m 62 years old and have 3 adult daughters, and I also have 2 rainbow babies. And yes, you do never forget those precious ones you never got to hold in your arms. God bless you!

I had a cervical polyp at 9 weeks that made me bleed. Scared the crap out of me after 2 losses and 7 years of infertility. Had a healthy pregnancy and baby is now almost 4 months old 🥰
I feel you about the gender and guarding your heart. We had a successful transfer recently (with PGS tested embryo) and decided to wait until further along in the pregnancy find out the gender. Its unspoken but I think my husband and I just don't want to get too attached too soon. I hope your scan next week is prefect in everyway and you have amazing and fun gender reveal.

@@viktoriiaaguila6425 unfortunately I miscarried again. It’s so hard on the one hand I’m desperate for it to work and on the other hand I’m terrified none will stick and I should give up but I can’t.
I’ve been thinking of you and praying 🙏🏼 thank you for sharing this with all of us. I was so nervous for my first ultrasound (I’ve had two miscarriages) but seeing that little heart flicker made me so feel better. But I was still nervous for awhile. But I’m now almost 27 weeks pregnant. I hope everything works out 🤞🏼🤞🏼♥️♥️♥️

Man, hearing your updates brings back all the emotions of my fifth pregnancy (my rainbow baby after four miscarriages). It's so so so so hard (as you know), and honestly I blocked a lot of it out. My heart goes out to you and I pray for you often. You got this ❤️

Praying for you! I started following you after we had our first loss, and I know the stress and anxiety in pregnancy never truly goes away once you’ve been through that but I just wanted to let you know that I’m getting such strong good feelings for you and this pregnancy, I really think this will be your baby that’s strong enough to make it into your arms, and the good numbers despite the bleeding just shows how much of a fighter this little tot is ❤️

When I read “bleeding” my first thought was my God can this girl catch a break!!? After all you’ve been through, of course you’d have bleeding to spice up your pregnancy! It can’t ever be smooth for you can it?! But I’m glad the numbers came back normal at least. Always thinking of you and this little babe❤️

🥰 im 6w1d today. 2nd FET I’m feeling everything you are physically and emotionally, the fatigue is real. We got our gender mailed to us and we just couldn’t wait and had a personal and intimate reveal. Praying for you and understanding everything you are feeling. You got this!

I had an SCH, bleed from 8-13 weeks. Longest 6 weeks of my life. We also did ivf and it’s super common. Praying for you and your baby❤️
Also, we didn’t see the pocket of blood until 10 weeks😐so don’t let that freak you out if you don’t see one!
Glad I stumbled on your vlog. Hubby and I were due to start IVF this month but have to sit this cycle out due to a cyst. Fingers and toes crossed that IVF is a go for next month (start stims on the 10th of March). Keep us posted on your journey! Will keep you in my prayers x
I know how hard it is having 3 losses myself and 2 yrs trying for our first baby (no comparison to your situation though!). We finally got our rainbow baby but I started spotting with him around 6 weeks as well and was sure I was gunna lose him too. It was such a scary time! Thankfully it was just a sch and I stopped spotting after a couple weeks! But it sure wasn’t a fun pregnancy till I hit around 14 weeks and felt like I could finally breathe a little bit. Even then my whole pregnancy was stressful because he was measuring very small all throughout and I had to be induced at 38 weeks. He came out a tiny 4.8lbs but so perfect and healthy! He was a complete miracle! He is 16 months now and am currently 19 wks pregnant with baby #2! It’s amazing how you can try so hard for that first one but then the second one comes so easily! They put me on progesterone and baby aspirin this time because of my previous losses and i believe it’s exactly what I needed. Anyway sorry for rambling! I’ve been watching you for a few years now and am just so happy for you and have always had you in my thoughts and prayers!! I know it’s hard when things feel out of our control but just remember God IS in control and he is SO faithful!! So keep trusting in Him! He WILL protect that little blessing inside of you in Jesus name!!❤️❤️

I had an SCH too. I thought I was having a miscarriage too it was very scary. I went in for an appointment at my fertility clinic and the doctor saw the SCH and we got to see his heartbeat for the first time. I think I was 6 or 7 weeks at that point. It is scary and I understand why you would be afraid. Just take it easy so it can heal that's all you can do.
I miscarried in January 2020 and found your story and a couple others on here that really helped me. Congratulations and I pray you have a safe, healthy full term pregnancy and baby.

I bleed during my first pregnancy as you mentioned it can be subchorionic hemorrhage but also can be incontinence cervix...please check that also. But still I will pray for you in english/spanish for you. Be strong

I had a sch and bled for 8 weeks off and on sometimes very heavy and bright red. I felt like it would never end. Praying for a great outcome for you.
And i also spotted untill i was 16 weeks and that ofcorsed scared me but the spotting was mostly brown . im sorry you have to go through this at such a beautiful time in your life but try to wake up every day and thank God for your babies and know he is keeping them safe.

I had the same thing happen to me last night with the bleeding and im so terrified. And according to the calendar im 5 weeks and 1 day today and i was supposed to have a beta done this past Monday but with the weather i wasnt able to make it . Im going crazy and im so worried . But my nurse told me to raise my progesterone to 2 ml and stop taking baby aspirin. Praying for you

I am so happy for you! I don’t envy the stress you are dealing with. I’ve had my fair share since we dealt with infertility and losses for 10 years. I 100% have PTSD and I don’t think I was ever fully excited during either of my successful pregnancies. I bled so much during both pregnancies, as well. I bled for about 16 weeks total with my first and about 14 weeks with my second. It sucked. I am prayer for y’all and all will be well. I just know it!

I had a SCH and had bleeding from 5 weeks through when I was 14 weeks. Then it just stopped one day. It came back for about 5 days when I was 18 weeks. I was terrified the whole time, but my baby is now 5 months old.
My bleeding was probably worse because I was on Lovenox, though.

First time ever commenting on anything, but I wanted to say congrats.
Just an idea, but we did gender reveal scratch cards for friends and family and you can ask them to FaceTime/video themselves scratching them off. Super fun, but the mail can be a bit slow.

I don't think you'll regret knowing what you can about this little one. Know their sex, name this baby. I know it's hard but it helps in the long run.

God I hate hearing that people can't have a partner in the room with them! Missed miscarriage comes with so much PTSD and it is so unfair when it is possible to make the room safe! Regardless of that, I am praying so much that it's a beautiful scan, and that everyone after that is just as beautiful!
Yes definitely horrible to go through all alone. I went through this in December, every week going alone to ultrasounds, I had a missed miscarriage, I had to go through a DnC alone since partner was not able to be with me. I don't wish this on noby

I had bright red bleeding at 6 weeks 6 days, thought for sure it was a miscarriage , went for an ultrasound baby had a strong heartbeat. Had another bright red bleeding at 8 weeks 5 days, went in for another ultrasound, baby is thriving, now I'm 13 weeks no more bleeding but I still feel anxious. I don't think I will relax until baby is in my arms.
I hope your baby makes it and you will hold her/him in a few months !

I started bleeding when I was 15 weeks and it ended up being a hematoma. I’ve had miscarriages too and it was terrifying. Luckily the pregnancy turned into a healthy baby girl who is 3 years old now. 😍

Don’t worry too much about symptoms, if you don’t get many! I had a few waves of nausea like you, and then zero morning sickness. After 4 losses, I wanted it!! 😂 But I’m glad I’m hindsight I didn’t get it. I did get some headaches, and fatigue. I know the feeling of being so guarded and not allowing yourself to be happy yet. Praying so hard for you and your family ❤️

I feel you Kelsie! I had a bleeding then spotting from 6weeks to 7weeks... once i saw the blood I thought this was over😢 so i scheduled an ultrasound and turned out everything was fine! I saw the baby looking like a gummy bear with a beating heart.. i couldn’t believe it😭 although after this i was worried during the whole pregnancy but thankfully i gave birth to a healthy baby boy who is now 7months😍 i am praying everything is going to turn out great for you too🥰
