Indeed. Most people say their favorite is Spark Mandrill or Storm Eagle (personally Flame Mammoth is mine), but Mega Man X1 is one of those games where you could say any of the music in the game is your favorite and you would be right.
Dude... this brought me back... You really captured the soul of the Mega Man X style. The music from that game franchise lends itself well to metal as it is, but you straight up cranked the heat on this one up to eleven. This is possibly my favorite Mega Man cover of all time. It's utterly flawless. PS: PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE do the "Zero Theme" from X3. And maybe the opening Zero stage of X5...
The soundtrack for this game is seriously one of the best VG soundtracks of all time. This cover definitely does the game justice, and I really hope you'll continue to cover songs from this game :)
If there is ever a Mega Man X remake, I hope they use your covers as the OST. It would be so amazing ripping through the stages with those songs playing.
Honestly no one ever covers Flame Mammoth's theme, its always Spark Mandrill, Storm Eagle, or any late game theme. So to see this getting some love is great, definitely an underrated theme from this game. Good job man!
