You know, i actually LOVE that nekomaru was present for chapter 3! it wa refreshing seeing him being able to interact with everyone here, i know i missed him a lot in the game
I LOVE ANCHAN'S ACTING HERE Sucks that they have to kill her. Anchan or Inami Anju is Ibuki's stage play actress. Fun fact Anchan is most known to be the seiyuu of Takami Chika of love live sunshine and shes also an amazing stage actress
That little "chan~!" when he shows it to the public it's kinda cute (sorta.) Plus how he quickly reacts when Sonia gets amused by it. (I mean, it's good ol' Kaz.)

They did need to cut a case for time and case 3 is arguably more important than 4. Have to say though, is a neat way for both of them to die out, fighting the Monokumas, though why the other two lived (other than because plot and so they had to) despite doing the same thing uh... Probably will make sense with English subs. Still better than when Hifumi died in the THH play just because he voted wrong (though the other two instances made sense in their moments and to preserve the remaining cases, they basically had to do that...even though one case got screwed up due to extra characters.)

think of veronica from heathers, she hung herself to trick JD but when her mom came in her room she revealed she was fine. I’m pretty they used some technique in the movie and musical (whether it was changing how the rope was tied or smth) and that same technique was used here
Or she could had a harness so the rope looks tight around her neck, but her body is hanging in the harness under her clothes and she won't suffocate. Just a guess
She was but maybe they wanted to quicken things up? Either that or they wanted the stage play to be a bit different from the games (Like the way they killed of Gundham and Nekomaru)

I love the small attention to detail when Komaeda stopped reacting during the trials when everyone else reacts during the impact of statements.
