I usually don't comment but I have used quite a bit of your recipes when I get stuck for something different! I'm between planet base and vegetarian! But I had okra at a friend's this past week and she seasoned it with her seasoning and Olive oil and baked it in the oven and it was nice and crispy and delicious! I love your videos! 🥰

Try looking into getting a yogurt strainer. That was a game changer for me. I make this coconut, cashew, and oat milk, and it was so tedious putting that through the nut milk bag. Using the nut milk bag on that plant milk kind of doesnt work reall well. Then I used a strainer but had to pass that through so many times, which wasn't as bad as the nut milk bag, but that yogurt strainer one passed, and that was it. It's a little stamper like piece that comes with it that you use to swirl or press the nut milk through.
For the Okra suggestion. There is a guy on You Tube called carribean pot he has an Okra rice dish that I make a lot. He not plant based and he used pumpkin and I've used butternut squash amd also added much more veggies that he did to the dish. I've added broccoil, zucchini, mushrooms, red peppers. I made it my own.
healthy living is a very nice way of living I enjoyed watching
The old fashioned delicious southern corn and okra stir fry. Mom used to use bacon though (😮) to fry the corn and okra then add a bit of cornstarch to thicken and all the old southern seasonings! Hmmmmm soo good! You can modify but it’s a winner I grew up on! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I made the Walnut mushroom nut meet this week. It was amazing! I didn't use it at tacos, I made a pizza instead. My coworker said it look just like meat.

My granny makes stewed okra with a tomato based sauce/broth and she usually adds smoke links as her protein and cornbread in the side. Very country meal lol but hopefully it inspires some ideas outside of frying

Roasted okra in the oven is sooo good. On a cookie sheet just put okra tossed in melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, and a little salt on 400 for like 15 min. Super good. Also, making suckatash with okra and a side of cornbread is good!

Dehydrate your okra with oil and sea salt. Like chips...so good. Sprouts sells them like this and they are healthy chips. So addicting...🤗

I think of gumbo or succotash when I have fresh okra, but it’s good pickled and eaten as a side dish as well.

If you would have taken a piece of bread to sop up the peanut sauce in the bowl, that's your business😂😂. Brandon, clacking the plate at the end of the video was hilarious. My boyfriend does the same thing and I yell " I thought you weren't hungry". Lmbo 😂😂😂😂 (I have to try the salad for sure).

Yoooooo Shakayla I made your eggplant Parmesan and GIRL! Bussing!!!! My dad is a meat-eater and he went back for seconds! Omg this was so good. The only thing I struggled with was making the eggplant toastier because it was soft. Maybe because I didn’t use parchment paper, idk. But 10/10 WOULD RECCOMMEND! 😂‼️💕💕

3 round tbsp of peanut butter powder
1.5 tbsp of rice vinegar
2 tbsp of sriracha
2 tsp sesame seed oil
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tsp of agave
Juice from 1/2 of a lime
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 tbsp of hot water

Before going vegan, and many many moons ago, I used to like a gumbo. Maybe use the okra and veganize like a chick’n gumbo? Could use tofu or soy curls for the chicken and if you wanted the sausage could use Beyond?

Hi! Welcome to my channel. In summary I went plant based for preventative health reasons. I changed my diet back in 2018 but I'd say within the last year, I've gotten more intentional with eating Whole Foods.

Hi! Im doing well, thank you so much for asking 🥹. How about you? I typically soak them for a minimum of 24 hours before making the cashew milk so that they're soft enough
