Please continue this story. I want to know what happened to Dylan and the crew next of the convict voyager. I would like a continuation. I can think of some amazing ideas for them.
Gene Roddenberry would be proud. I could see a fanboy movie production or better. The pace was great! If this was expanded into a series each episode would have to have the same detail and timing. Not the same episode stretched out over ten or more installments. Yet by truncating each detail, some could be fleshed out just a bit to make more time for a movie.
Um, wasn't this civilization they discover at a pre-warp, medieval level? How'd they develop space flight in the blink of an eye? And first they're being treated by Dr. Levine, the chief medical officer, and then by T'lar, who I could have sworn was a Vulcan engineer or science officer, not a medical doctor. And whatever happened to the perpetually grumpy Korg?!? Did he spend the rest of the story off-stage, in the brig?? Also, how many gigantic solar flares occur at the exact angle needed to threaten alien space stations and entire worlds? This is one incredibly unlucky region of space.
Well number one is a very long story our lot of adventures going on disaster after disaster, but I certainly can see a lot of Star Trek adventures in the story. I don’t know how the franchise would look at this.
Humans , Vulkans and Klingons would handle the Heat better than the Andioan ( ice planet ) " Hot AS Vulkan " Kronos gets pretty damn Hot Earth Death Valley , Sahara Desert , Gobi Desert
Actually, Andorians are resistant to extreme temperatures in both directions. In "The Aenar," Episode 14 of Season 4 of Enterprise, Thy'lek Shran states that he has visited planets with temperatures only slightly below the boiling point of water, and the only effect was that he lost ten percent of his body weight during those couple of days. I'd love to see any Human, Vulcan, or Kingon survive such conditions.
Klingons weren't all that dissimilar from Humans, or Romulans, or Vulcans, or Cardashians, and Andorians,(though the Andorians rely heavily on their body suits to maintain there body temperature.)because according to StarTrek Lore, our planets seeded by the Progenitors. Don't remember if they ever named those aliens in the this was revealed in the StarTrek, the Next Generation Series.
Sorry, but environmental controls are a separate system from atmospheric. Such as air. And if the environmental went down, the ship would be cooling because of the temperature of space. The whole premise is reversed.
I'm sure the engines generate a significant amount of heat that must be effectively dissipated. Also, they could be orbiting near a star, which would keep them toasty. As far as HFY stories go, this one is fairly low on the scale of creativity needed to make it plausible.
Like all things, it depends. In real life, we have a few examples. On Apollo 13 when they blocked out the sun and turned off the electronics, then yes the cooling caused the craft to cool down. However, when we look at Skylab, which lost some of the insulation on launch, this station was exposed to the heat of the sun which caused the station to heat up and required the installation of a shield to resolve the overheating.
If you search UA-cam you will find many many Star Trek themed stories, actual films and such created by fans of the series. I would not worry about copyright infringement. 😊
Actually CBS and Paramount have Fan Fiction Guidelines that allow for the non-commercial use of Star Trek properties in fan fiction writings and films.
I for one, thoroughly enjoyed this romp thru the Star Trek universe! Live long and prosper!😊
Cool beans. 🙃

I am enjoying it myself. It is just a story.

Cardashians is spelled with a K.

but then we wouldn't have a reason for no clothes 😂
Unless they were close to a star, which would be warming up the ship from external radiation.

If you like chronic tragedy, you'll like this story. Something is always going wrong. It seems excessive.
Reminds me of Armageddon.
Using Star Trek names and such infringes on copyright issues.
am sure they would be okay with it unless someone makes money
