Tapping is fun when you get it down more or less. Then you can go crazy and make up cool littles patterns and different transitions and sounds. Great video! 🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸

Please don't take this the wrong way. I'm an old guy, been teaching full time for 30 years now. And if I didn't know better, I'd say that I taught you myself. Our approach is remarkably similar. I've been digging your videos. Nice to know there are young people to carry on the craft. Great job! I even subscribed. I don't usually do that.
Good lesson dude I like how you slow it down because I think alot of people new to tapping miss the finger pluck kinda pull off which makes it resonate better. I know I started out just straight on tapping myself and would try to tap harder but then I noticed that little technique and some slide down off the string when not tapping kinda off a didn't type of pull off.
The 3rd one i took example of since i cant make my fingers go that far and what iv made up told my girlfriend it reminded her of the first time we met so i think i did a good job representing the feeling of nostaliga which is what i heard from the 3rd lick
The new evh neon pink one looks way darker than that neon pink charvel but they tend look change shades alot depending the illumination in the room and other factors.
First time I have watched you for a long time and you have grown into a man, and your playing is something else, what kind of sound equipment are you using?
It will be a flaw in your technique somewhere bud. As said in this video, the secret to tapping is in the pull offs. That's what gives you volume. Once that's sorted, you can tap on a nylon string guitar and it's audible
Very good thank you from meghalaya ...Sir how to skills the guitar how do practices what what the scale practices serially can you tell me please I need your help
I don't really see that to be honest. In terms of dialect, we're from totally different parts of the country haha. If I had his chops I'd be more than happy 😊

Hi Cameron, your Tappinp ist very good. But im looking for some Information for the tapping-Sound. Is there a compressor in your Sound. How strong is your Compressor? You play with hi Gain. Etc. Can you make a video with your Sound settings? Greetings from Germany
Thanks Stefan. I don't use a lot of compression, nothing that gives my technique a boost at any rate. I released my settings in my recent Yamaha THR30II demo
Hey Cameron. Great vid as always. Is that tone completely direct into amp with no pedals ? I know you said it at the start of the vid but you make it sound great. Thinking of upgrading my practice amp and need that tone. Thank you
@@CameronCooper Thanks for the reply on an old video, I got the pull offs right, however for example, tap 12, pull off to 8, and pull off to 5, hammer on 8, I’d ruin it by tapping 12 again by accident Its a really frustrating technique for me, I think I have it down, just need to take it veeeerrry slow and speed up gradually. Amazing tutorial, and thanks again for your help.
Thanks again Cameron, my nephew thinks I'm the greatest when I play this stuff for him 😂, all thanks to you mate.
You made my day! Thanks so much! :)
@@CameronCooper this is really great - I’m going to pratice these tips and will impress everybody

i like how everyone rather say it's difficult than have a go at it for a week like 10 minutes a day

how does he do that?
@@lergen8251 bends 3 strings down like he has Parkinson’s
When you press on the whammy bar, it loosens the tension on the strings so they wobble more.

2:43 how do you manage to make the 12th fret make a sound, when I let go of the fret in front of it, its like a distant sound
