    You are right Mal. Most home bred culls are better than massed produced farm bred fish.

      It’s strange as the council who grant you the licence to sell, hold these big box stores as go to guys in fish care to emulate 🤦🏼‍♂️

    very cool seeing your process of separating and identifying what you like and don't. Very cool video Mal😁

      Thanks patty I think I should’ve had another tank and sized them into two categories then I could’ve brought the smaller one on together

    From this angle... I am glad you have pants on lol
    I do like all glass tanks you have there.
    Here's hoping the heater holds up. I look forward to your update on it
    Btw I absolutely love the cinematic view of the water going in... really good
    This is good timing as I am going to take some shubunkin goldfish to a new fish store for the first time. .. have to take some nice ones but not too nice ..lol
    Man you have some nice angels. Very good culling .. 8 culls is good . Hope you kept the very best.

      No problem Chris I going to publish your comment as a short story lol
      I can’t believe how well I’ve done, some even have the hue of red coming through already, which is amazing as it was a good six months after buying the parents at this size any colouration started to show

      @aquariumdelirium hahaha..
      You have some nice offspring.. now you just need a second pair not from this set of not from their parents to breed these guys to

    86 still! No wonder you wanted the parents to take a bit of a break 😅🐰. Oh I hope that's not a crack 😧. I'll be interested to see how that heater does long term.
    Nice job, really nice that some of the keepers are still showing good color despite being stressed! Hope you have a good weekend, Mal 🙂👍

      Thank you Tara, I think having a trip to pets for homes opens my eyes to the rubbish we get palmed off with
      So the cull wasn’t as invasive as I thought it would be
